Mod - stop needing other peoples' approval. As gym suggests, simply stop conversing with your detractors, post your own thoughts/items of interest, and enjoy the good parts of this mixed-bag site.

FWIW, the most successful posters (in terms of content and respect - which are related) are those who say little until they have "something" to say...Podman is a good example, as is garbage...miter is great for wide-ranging experiences, and so on.

Develop a thicker skin, and enjoy the good parts.
