I've been to Canada - It's a totally different world up there. You would think this video was shot years ago, but you see, travelling to Canada is like going back in time. This is where there technology is at today, this is what people's hair/clothing style look like. In Canada, this sort of video would pass as 'super bitchin' by today's young hipsters. By the looks of it - probably shot in Manitoba - but who knows, it could be as from far away as New Brunswick. ;)
esop, I hope you are just being funny. Canada is not like going back in time, the video was not shot in Manitoba or New Brunswick, the music video is not even Canadian. Since, the ending of the video the women said: "... the most important music video show along the Gulf Coast." and the artist himself is from the U.S.
The vegetation does not look Canadian either, there are palm fans, and cacti... W.T.F. esop?! This leads me to believe you have never been to Canada, or where it is located.

In all honesty, I kinda liked the song - much like Rush - maybe it's the heritage - the Canadian folk sound with Scandinavian roots. I'll have to look Mark Gromley up on i-tunes.
Another example of people accepting as fact every bit of material found on the internet without question.. as "sleepy" said,, palm derviations of foilage are not native to Canada, furthermore Mr. Phil Katt, who produced this vid is from.. Pensacola, FL (where they do have palms.... and is also located on the gulf coast.. these are what we call clues...) unfortunately for me, it does me no positive refelection as i was born in Canada and raised in Florida...lol... nevertheless.. this was a creepy vid
