Hi Aussie... actually, yeah I have.....alot.... Growing up on a dairy farm I did witness the heffers mounting each other on a regular basis.... maybe that was just bisexual behavior of the young "experimenting", or whatever... I just know that if it makes you happy, go for it, as long as you're not hurting anyone. LOL... oh wait, some people even like that, and THAT confuses me!

Gold...glad you came up with a link to support the occurrance of homosexuality amongst animals. I had learned of that some time ago...the little I recall had to do with activities witnessed in zoos, where the zookeepers were worried at that this would be seen by visitors, and what issues might follow from that. Masturbation by primates was another worry...animals apparently aren't concerned about who's watching.
I don't know if the incidence of homosexuality among animals compares to that among humans, but the animals don't seem to worry about "coming out"...I expect more info may come as research continues, but I don't expect that we'll see it much of the results in the media, given that parents aren't likely to want their kids to read or witness this research.

Here's the way I see it. I have no problem whatsoever with anyone's sexual proclivities. What people do with each other to express love/lust is none of my business.

Yes there is a difference the difference being is that I know and the intelligent people of Glumbert know that I have NO delusion of hooking-up (for lack of a better word) with a straight male.

As for my 2 cents, I am a straight man who has gay friends. All my friends are equal in my eyes, the gay ones just (usually) dress better. Anyone who is intimidated by homosexuals might, just might, have something hiding in their closet. In my experience, those the protest the most, have the most to hide.
Putting aside Glumbert for a week or so was pretty refreshing, actually. Although I definitely missed the interaction with the hardcore regulars (Mako, Billy-B, Randal, Freetobe, gymgy, Skids, arseface, Col. Vanker, Riza---is she ok?---surferbum, gotcha, Chaz), it was still nice to take a step back, take a deep breath and regroup. See, even though the viewpoints between myself and Streamilined, for example, are about as wildly opposite as you can get in this plane of existence, there's NO doubt in my mind that he'd be the last one to actually go out and harm (or by act of omission, allow to be harmed) another human being. I actually believe that about him. So in that way at least, I do respect him. The world already has enough vile scum out there that wreck peoples' lives, and I just don't think he fits that mold. (BTW, Stream....I believe that you were being quite sincere in finding "Peace", and it did not go unnoticed by me. But, I just happen to believe that we ALL have to find our own "Peace", wherever it may be, as well as our own way to it. It is a guarantee that the media will make you famous for vile acts against your community, and not infamous. The system has greater and greater rewards for doing the wrong thing and NOT for doing the good thing.
Examples abound for this:
- Recently a convicted pedophile won the lottery in excess of 1 million dollars. Convicted felons should NOT be eligible to win the lottery! (Even the people who work at the lottery are not eligible to win, and they have not committed any crimes)
- Sub prime loans should not be bailed out by the taxpayers. The financial institution should be liable for making and selling the bad loans, and those receiving such loans. Also it should be a crime to bundle and resell the mortgages into financial instruments, loans should be loans with interest between the originator entity (single), and borrower (single).
There are endless examples of the growing disrespect for rule of law. It is now the cornerstone in the argument for extremist acts, because those who commit those acts are "following a higher law".
As to the Oscars, I never watch because I don't care. You're correct if given the chance there are any number of people who can do better than those who are in power. I like to say that at any given moment in time there are at least 200 thousand people who can do a job better than the person doing it, but they just did not have the opportunity to do so.
I guess everyone should be concerned about this new American standard for the justice department. I would guess that it will keep getting worse until we have a government replicating Argentina's handling of dissidents. He's not missing, but maybe a fleet of black Ford Falcons could become the new government tool against domestic terrorism. After all we have to keep ourselves safe from this kind of dictatorship.

podman in my business i can get products i produce at 10th of the price that is produced in Canada. I know a lot of business people are taking advantage of these increase profits . I for one am not , because when i have kids and my kids have kids i want them to still have jobs and careers available to them.

podman One of the things people don't realize when owners or buyers go to china, Thailand, vietnam,etc . they are treated like kings . What does that mean ? Great hotels ,cloths made cheap ,wonderful food and fucking your brains out . Your choice women, girls ,boys or all of the above. I have seen it many times myself. When I was in Taiwan looking at some suppliers ,I was invited to an outing with the Gm and the owner of this particular business that employed over 3000 people ,some of them children.We they knew i like martial arts .After a delicious meal that went on for 4 hours they took me to their fights [pretty brutal ,lot of kick to the head and face. They even had drummers giving the beat to the combat's. Some were carried out on strechers.After they took me to a beautiful hotel like building . We went inside it was filled with very beautiful Asian women ,all available for my pleasure that night 1,2 3,as many as i wanted .I told them that i would pass and if they didn't mind take me back to my hotel as I was leaving the next morning . I was delivered to the hotel i did my usual 1 hour run and some exercise. While in the shower there was a knock on the door . I opened to a breathtaking women ,who asked if she could come in to please me . I thanked her and declined and closed the door. About an hour later there was another knock on the door ,this time it was a handsome looking guy. I told him no thanks. This has happened to me in many Asian countries.orientals do business different. Life means nothing to these people. The sad thing that they have a conduit to north America through companies like Walmart. Thats why I tell my staff friends, everyone don't buy at these places. When you go to a restaurant ask where the fish , beef comes from . The chinese are fishing in polluted rivers in china and sending this crap for us to eat. How do we boycott ,i am just one small voice please help by telling some one and ask them to tell some one and so on .....
Wow! I had no idea. Thanks for the info. I already boycott Walmart, and do my best to stop others, but this outsourcing induced recession will force many more to shop there. The poor will have no choice when times get really hard.
what i ment to say is build a 24 foot wooden sail boat ,live around the coast of thialand and play my guitar on board. snorkel for my fish supper and have afternoon delights,with the movement of the boat rocking us to sleep.
And then a tsunami hits, smashes your your boat (called Titanic II) to bits, causing your guitar to pinwheel through the air and break over your skull and as you sink slowly into the cold, murky depths, you curse yourself for letting the boat motor GO DOWN and not getting it repaired because it would have cost $2,000.00 and the the boat-repairman would have also billed you for sailing time it took to get to your co-ordinates (although on shore-dweller was later heard to remark, "Thank fuck. If he'd have kept up that racket with that goddamn guitar of his for much longer, he wouldn't have had to worry about a frakkin' WAVE taking him out!"). Hours later, Colonel Vanker shows up with his Kriegsmarine, takes a look around, and says "Move along; nothing to see here".

Was on Railay Beach in Krabi when the tsunami hit by the way - stayed on the east side so didn't get the full force of the wave. Soon saw what it did to those on the western beach though.
Had to go find two people I'd never met before who a friend of mine had sent down to Phi Phi (which got obliterated) and finally found them in Krabi hospital - they were soooo lucky. I will never, ever forget the scenes I saw at the hospital and during the few days afterwards. The documentaries bring tears to my eyes always. The Thais were nothing short of awesome in the way they dealt with the whole situation.
Spent the next 9 days helping generally clear up debris, drag long tail boats from 100 mts inland, out of trees, swimming pools etc, burning the unsalvagable ones and refloating those that could.
The whole thing just made me feel so insignificant in the face of what mother earth can dish out when she has a hissy fit.
mako i saw this in biloxi mississippi ,Incredible ships 300 ftlong a mile from the water. Large hotels washed away . But when the moon is out and the water is calm.......................incredible.
