i hope the war ends soon my children have to go through that about twice a year with my husband over in bahrain 8 months out of the year. Each time he leaves it gets harder, you always wonder if this time is the last time you will see them.
No the President of the US invalidated the war when he lied to get the war started and then kept changing the reasons for going. Not to mention doing a piss poor job of managing it. Al queda had a very hard time getting into Iraq before we went there. Now you do have Iraqis attacking us but thats because we have people so close to them now. Most of those Iraqis would never have had an opportunity to attack an american if none were stationed in their country. Use some critical thought instead of just repeating bumper sticker slogans. Iraq WAS a secular country now its going to end up being Islamic thanks to people like you thinking you what whats best for the rest of the world. You adon are disturbing.

However, all my comment was saying is that a little boy crying about his dad coming home is not and should not be a deciding factor in what we do in Iraq. Kids cry all the time for all sorts of reasons and while it might be tempting for you to sit down and cry with them, it's not the best military strategy.

There is documented proof easily found on the internet that the likes of the Clinton Duo, Kerry, Edwards, Kennedy, and more all stated back when Clinton was in office that Iraq was a threat and had WMD's. Only after Bush took office did they flip-flop to try and undermine Bush. GG Democrats, way to sabotage your own country.

What a sweet little boy. I can't imagine how that must of felt. I wish my sons daddy paid more attention to his dad and he lives in the same city. I've heard my son sob that way about his daddy.
You know, I'll bet this dad cried too. I'll bet he looked at his son's tears and said to himself"this is why we are over there, so our children will not have to be tomorrow". I know exactly how this child and his father feels. My family goes through it every day. I always remind people WE DID NOT START THIS WAR( no Mr. Bush didn't either) I am proud of all who CHOOSE TO SERVE especially after this war started . Good Morning World!, Yes, today is my birthday, I am 50 yrs old today, and I was feeling kinda-of-blue, but after seeing this video, it made my day. I am really glad I am Well, Alive, and Healthy. This video broke my heart, because I felt as though that was my son and my grandchild, as a true American, it is our citizenship and honor and love for our country that keeps us going, and trying to maintain a balance in the world and keep the world safe from terror, horror, etc. I'm sure all of us don't really know what is going on, but it is our blood being shed over there to protect others. I really don't know who is right and wrong, but I know, we have to get to the peace part, and all humans have to learn to keep the peace, that's the bottom line. Be at peace, keep harmony in your heart, be safe and think how lucky we are to live in a beautiful, "United States!" Thank You God!
How the fuck can you say this video is fake? Its people like you who upset me. I am proud of my husband, who is fighting over there and almost missed the birth of our son. He spent one day with our now 2 month old baby boy, and I pray everyday and everynight that he makes it home safely so he can hold his son, who will be a year old when he comes home. So, nexttime,before you say that a video like this is fake, take into consideration the families and childfren of the soldiers in Iraq. Because military spouses go to sleep in an empty bed for over a year, and most of the time cry themselves tosleep while waiting for a call that doesnt come. Next time your sleeping, safely, in the arms of your spouse, remember that there are so many of us who cant.
I cry everytime....and why do people have to ruin a video with thier dumbass comments...yes, we know people dont agree with the war, argue about it somewhere else...exchange phone numbers or something.
