I'm posting this again, because it got cut off, and I want everybody to witness my glorious exit. =] Well, I'm going back to public school. As things would have it, that will take place around the end of January. It has been a long time... I think going on two years now. You guys will be seeing a lot less of me, which I'm sure some of you will be glad to hear. I'll probably still come around a few times a week, but between homework, and catching up on the wasted school year that's putting me back into the grind, I'm going to be busy. The rest of my free time will probably be spent practicing drawing, and perhaps working on the animated series I'm planning. I'm going to try not to come back for the next few weeks especially, because I have a game I need to finish in order to give it to my friends by Christmas. I'm going to miss you guys, especially chaz. In my absence, I'm appointing mitercut, and of course chaz, to keep an eye on Skidmarks and Canadaman, in order to make sure they don't obliterate the English language. Everyone, thanks for everything. Especially for sharing a place with me that allowed me to waste 3 hours every day doing nothing. Happy holidays, take care of yourselves.
You better believe it's addicting... Add to that the fact that it's one of two places I can find people that understand what I' saying when I'm being myself, and you can probably see why I spend so much time here.
Well, I had the meeting today... It was during school hours, so I saw all my old friends again a few times in the halls. Long story short, and cutting to the point, I think the girl I have a crush on likes me, and I'm wondering if anyone here has some advice, besides the basic smile and be confident stuff.
Whoa whoa whoa, you saying I don't do well enough with CM? dang. On top of that, you're going back to public school? What HAVE you been doing? Did you drop out or something?

Basic rules: Make her laugh If she touches you at all -- she likes you -- unless she's one dem that touches EVERYONE... Once she's made first contact, you should not be shy in touching... I don't mean groping, but more like putting your arm around her and making a joke or a snappy comment. This means, be friendly! Hang out over Christmas break. Don't ask her on a date, just hangout. Invite her over and hang out like you would a guy. If she's into games then play games if she isn't I'm sure you can teach her how to play some stupid first person shooter and make fun of how bad she sucks... Make sure you include rocket launchers but you're not allowed to use them as much as she is, haha, that should even things out.
Thanks pac. ; ) I think the bit about touching will be most helpful. Mmm.. Christmas break.. It'll be short for me, and most of it is going to be spent on Staten Island, visiting my cousins. Besides, in all honesty, this will be my first time dating. I've avoided requests in the past out of fear of how long it would last, but I'm hoping perhaps now, being just that much older, it won't be one of those short-lived relationships that everyone else in the school has been having since seventh grade. Games, I've pretty much quit. I suppose I've still got the reflexes for it, I just don't play them anymore.
School: I didn't drop out, but I've been in cyber school since a few months before I joined Glumbert. I don't even remember why I left public..
And, lastly, what do you mean about you and Canadaman?
re: public school. It's meant to make you stupid. Concentrate on the basic skills... reading, writing, math, critical thinking, and you'll do fine (get good grades, but don't think school is the end all be all)
re: girls Don't worry too much about what she thinks of you. Be yourself. Let her know what your thinking and feeling from time to time, but not EVERYTHING... meaning, take care of yourself first. Be polite. Have fun. Don't try any "methods" or "techniques". You will find your way. Lastly, go with your gut instinct.
When interacting on the internet you lose the essentials, like body language and voice tone. Thus the true nature of what is said can be misinterpreted in many forms.
Also anyone posting on the internet, will undoubtedly post with their alter ego, with this added distortion, the chances of actually getting to know someone is impossible.
The added fact that even when meeting someone face to face you will never know their true feelings, the world of forums are an absolute minefield, therefore highly recommended to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Also the very cowardly nature of posting a threat is a contradiction in itself, the very nature in which the context of the comment is being posted undermines the comment, thus losing its conviction, if any was present in the first place.
These very reasons are why i have stopped posting, i prefer to interact in the real world, where your grammar and written word is not the soul reason for peoples judgement. Your general character including kindness, loyalty, love, insight, judgement etc form peoples opinion, without a written word in sight.

It is possible to get to know someone, by the way. My perception allows me to get to know someone around my age almost instantly, unless they are smart. I'll be honest, though: the majority of them are dumb asses.
Skids....introspective, philosophical, interesting....not all necessarily universal opinions, but certainly up there with the more cogent contributions.
I think you should revisit now and then. This site retains interest and credibility, not because of the vulgar voicings of the bereft, but because of its more substantive content.
Clearly, you contribute to the latter, and your substance will be appreciated.
infinity's daddy took him to the zoo once. But they were promptly arrested after catching infinity raping a chicken while his dad was forcefully face fucking him. After this, infinty was suspended from school and had to stay home under house arrest, but he didn't mind that at all. His mommy took good care of him. She sure enjoyed disciplining him for being caught. Taking him over her knee and whipping his bare ass. Good times for infinity. But the suspension ran out now. Time to go back to school and blow boys in the bathroom.
