The first question is not tough and actually rather moot. The health services available today are infinitely better than centuries ago. That question is asked in the context of TODAY, rather than back then, when an attempted abortion most certainly have increased the chances of the mother dying.

You may want to reconsider adding more context to the multiple choice questions also and add that there is significant evidence pointing to Candidate A's wife quite possibly being lesbian, and newly discovered evidence that Candidate C was homosexual.
