oops that link did not post correctly. Here are the payouts for destroying the US financial system:
CEO: Stanley O'Neal | Company: Merrill Lynch Payout: $161.5 million O'Neal stepped down in October, shortly after Merrill wrote down $8 billion in losses during the height of the subprime mortgage fallout.
CEO: Charles Prince | Company: Citigroup Payout: $68 million Prince left Citigroup in November following steep losses that shaved nearly a quarter off the bank's market value.
CEO: Jimmy Cayne | Company: Bear Stearns Payout: $61.3 million Following a decade and a half at the helm of Bear, Cayne laid low in the bank's waning days, when it was sold to JPMorgan Chase for about 6 percent of its peak value a year earlier.
CEO: Angelo Mozilo | Company: Countrywide Financial Payout: $121.5 million Mozilo gave up $36 million in severance pay, but cashed in his stock options as the massive mortgage company entered the subprime fallout. Mozilo is currently under investigation by the SEC.

*** Sorry about that. I'm clogging this up thread with errors: Here is the correction to the repeats above, and I will stop now. I apologize for this.
CEO: Michael Perry | Company: IndyMac Payout: Unknown. Perry was removed in July when the FDIC took over IndyMac in the second-largest action by the bank depositors' insurer.
CEO: Ken Thompson | Company: Wachovia Payout: $8.7 million After 32 years with Wachovia, Thompson resigned in June after a deep first-quarter loss and a 41 percent dividend cut spurred a shareholder uprising.
CEOs: Richard Syron / Daniel Mudd | Company: Freddie Mac / Fannie Mae Payout: Zero. Regulators voided the chiefs' severance packages when the government took over the giant mortgage agencies. Mudd was due to receive $9.3 million, while Syron could have earned $14.1 million.
CEO: Kerry Killinger | Company: Washington Mutual Payout: As much as $22 million Killinger was ousted earlier this month as the nation's largest thrift joined the list of other troubled banks likely to be sold.
CEOs: Robert Willumstad / Martin Sullivan | Company: American International Group Willumstad inherited a sinking ship from Sullivan, who left in his wake $20 billion in subprime writedowns and back-to-back record quarterly losses. Sullivan left with $47 million, while Willumstad earned $22 million in his three months as CEO.
pods it is shame you are so right.
When I started my business the banks wanted a cosigner. I told them NO.
I found partner and we worked our tails off 7 days a week 16 hours a day . We started in a garage that we rented near my parents house .
I went out 6 evenings a week selling .I had an old van that I had to fix every month . Now they are offering me more money than I will ever need . My answer to them NO .
I get everything I can from them without paying a dime. You know my partner and I will never make that kind of money theses bankers are making . I think it is obscene.
the daily show has a side by side video showing bush giving his "Let's Bomb Iran" speech 2003 and his "Lets bailout Wall St" speech 2008...... it's the same godamn speech!!!! see: http://www.thedailyshow.com/
Hey bikerboy, to clear that up, that's a completely different set of aliases. I do have an extensive lists of aliases myself, but they are run on 4 different passwords, not one universal pass. Furthermore, the first few times I stated I didn't have any aliases were true. I set it up so that a royal genius could figure all my passwords out, and I have even left several clues. All the passwords except this one and two others, that is. These will always remain mine.
Fartknocker doesn't seem to have any aliases up and running right now, for the record. The ones I can remember right now are swine, Jenny1983, infinty. I'll post any others I can recall later.
There is a way to use this new form of socialized prospecting for funds to pay for the entire bailout, and reduce the national debt at the same time.
Nationalize the oil companies, and manage all profits to benefit the US citizens. Hey its our oil, why should a select few make profits from a national resource.
If its out tax money, then we should all get interest free loans from now on, after all its our money. Now that would get the economy moving.
Sep 27, 2008 - "Russia should immediately and unconditionally cease its military operations and withdraw all forces from sovereign Georgian territory," -John McCain
May 9, 2007 - More than half of the members of Iraq's parliament rejected for the first time on Tuesday the continuing occupation of their country. The U.S. media ignored the story.
August 26, 2008 - Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki said Monday that an agreement on the future of U.S. forces in Iraq must include a firm withdrawal date and that Iraq wants them out of the country by the end of 2011. He said the only agreement acceptable to Iraq was one that guaranteed it "full sovereignty."
Gee thanks canvck. You don't even fucking know me, let alone have enough information to throw an insult. And don't take bikerboy's stance on the fact that I made a bunch of aliases, either, because I'm not the only one. How about coming out on your other profile?
Hey hey hey! This clip reminds me of the time I auditioned for the part of a Klingon trooper in the early days of Star Trek. I actually met William Shitner and Lieutenant Youwhoreyou. They were really friendly and encouraging, considering they were megastars at the time. Shitner let me read his diary, and Youwhoreyou offerd to suck my dick in the back lot. I read the diary. Anyway, they anted someone who was well built and could speak in a gruff voice for the part, so I reckoned I'd be a shoe-in. But when I got to the screen test, I discovered I had genital warts, and had to keep scratching my privates all the time. That kinda went against me, although I did get the offer of a part in a Michael Jackson video.
Well, glad to have you back, bitch. Whether I'm irritating or not is of no consequence at the moment, for glumbert yet again has a bit of humor to liven it up.
Oh, and don't forget not to insult my intelligence. That one always comes back to bite the prick in question right in his big smelly ass. =) Later loser!
(It's great to have a good excuse to be here again!)
And to top it all off, that's a great means to skitter out of the way of my question. Keep dodging, I'll figure out who you are sooner or later. Not worth responding to. Yep.
