People still adhere that this was a massive conspiracy by the US government. That is bullshit. Of course they took full advantage of the situation to both satiate the citizens anger and shore up oil supplies and I'm no Bush fan.
But think on this - what genious would design such a plan with explosives hidden in the buildings' pylons, suicide, hijackers etc...... and NOT have a patsy to take the fall at the end which would, at least, create the illusion the Bush government isn't incompetent as it is. Bin Laden's absence has been a bane to the US government since it happened. Don't believe every nut-job with a blog.

I never said it was a conspiracy, just that there may have been complicity. Not acting on intelligence could be considered complicit. The fact that Osama might be alive in a cave somewhere does, indeed, highlight the idiocy of BushCo. While Shrub may have the intelligence of his namesake, he is surrounded by, and his strings are pulled by, intelligent people. BTW, didn't Haliburton's profits go up by something like 3000% since the start of the "war".

Yeah, Haliburton's profits did soar, but it doesn't take a person of even average intelligence to figure out that if you give a company all the business they're going to do better than where they were at.
