Thats the one thing France and us have in common (I mean the US) the vietcong kicked both our ass's bloody Gook's.

Technically the French lost major battles to the Viet Cong. The US just lost the will to fight and so withdrew, kinda like we damn near did in Iraq.

Everyone says the US lost the Vietnamese war. Well we won every battle, we left of our own free will, and it took two more years after we left for South Vietnam to fall. Technically we didn't lose, we forfeited.
