Hehe...it's cute when people assume others don't know something. Though I do agree that too many people make comments about things they don't really know about, you can't assume that that is the case all the time. For instance, some "numbskulls" who made clever comments are well aware of the "autrocities" that happen to baby seals. However, some "numbskulls" simply have a differing opinion on the matter and choose to express that in a humorous fashion. Or some people just like to have a laugh by saying something shocking, which is a fairly common form of humor today. And unless you have actually, in real life (not on a documentary with Paul McCartney), experienced a seal hunt or something, I doubt that you really "get" this little scene (assuming that is what you are referring to of course).
What a cutie!!! Some people believe we should use and eat all the animals in the world, what we have done to the animals already done to us. ANIMALS CAN DETECT UNUSUAL THINGS IN NATURE WHAT WE CANNOT, AS LONG AS WE KEEP DISRESPECTING ANIMALS THIS WORLD IS DOOMED. WE NEED TO LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.” The global warming is just gonna get worst.
