I haven't lived in a country yet where the locals I met didn't have an overt dislike of my (and anyone's) skin color, hair color, place of birth, native language, accent, width of nose, automobile, or the ethnic origin of the person I was dating at the time. Being verbally or physically attacked for any of those points became regular.
