This is all complete bilgewater, piffle and drivel. When I was a young man, prisoners used to be beaten in cold blood each morning, made to wash in their own excrement and sent on a 50 mile run round their cell before breakfast - which was a human foot. We are far too soft on criminals nowadays. One strike and you're out! One parking ticket and it's the electric chair for you my ld!

This is a great plan for inmates.. They would have to practice alot, and that leaves less time to get bored and violent.
They also must learn orginization and a pecking order based on something other than criminal activities. They also have to learn to work together, a useful social trait not often seen even in 'polite' society.
The shows can generate revenue so less needs be taken from the people via taxes.
I chuckle to imagine an urban 'gang banger' or other ner-do-wells being forced to do this. They would be SOOO pissed off.

Your comment pipedog, finally prompted me to sign up, just to tell you that your comment was insightful, and thankfully (it appears) ignorant of the ignorance that went before. As for the rest of you: the people that say 1st, the people that say drivel, the people that say nigger, the people that pretend to be some stupid character and imagine they will one day be begged to play in their second self-titled film, the people that say fuck you to every post and the people that can't be arsed waiting until they have something to say before they hit POST? And I thought the dancers were so good that I can't help thinking that either it was a setup with every dancer who wanted to come or that with the popularity of this concept, the local lady-boy population has suddenly gone slightly butch and passed out wolf tickets until they could get locked up and join in the party.
