Like everything else, Midas Muffler started in the US. I once met a Canadian that was convinced Budweiser was first a Canadian beer. She said, "but they say brewed from hops and barely grown in Canada in the commercial!" That must be enough info for Canadians to proudly buy Bud by the case.
Guess I hit a soft spot with the Canucks - being proud of bud is not the point - Canucks proudly announcing US companies as Canadian, simply because they exist there, is what's ridiculus.
It's pretty off-topic, but just FYI, I can't stand Palin. So how are your elections coming? Yes, I actually am interested.
4. Wearing white after Labour Day is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
5. Calling the directory assistance/information operator, for numbers you can just as easily look up in the phone book is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
6. Replacing Canucks as you number one oil supplier is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
7. Thinking of Palin as ANYTHING other than a sex toy to be used at any manly-man's whim-and-fancy and do to with as said manly-man pleases.....is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
8. Slamming or otherwise criticizing Gordon Lightfoot, Anne Murray or Bryan Adams or Burton Cummings or Neil Diamond or William Shatner (well, maybe not him) is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
9. Ridiculing or otherwise minimizing the importance to the world-at-large of the insulin vaccine.......is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
10. And lastly......entertaining ANY thought, idea or even the remotest notion that I may be wrong about ANYTHING.....is OFF-LIMITS. Period.
Other than that......how the hell are ya?
