Paris is NOT news, but I wish it could be. As soon as we end all wars, hunger, starvation, theft by corporate whores and politicians, indeed, end the need for politicians and other criminals, then, Paris might be a story. Until that time.... the fence between Columbus, NEW Mexico and Mexico is indeed, built in Mexico, not the US.

God that was horrid. They spent 3 minutes explaining why they weren't going to do the Paris story instead of doing the story and moving on (or NOT doing the story and moving on...either one would suffice.) Media flamboyance under the guise of journalistic integrity. Pathetic attempt.
This lady is out of line. She is acting so un-professional. I do agree that Paris Hilton's lame life should not be news, but this journalist is extremely ridiculous. On tv, she is acting like a 5 year old.
Mika, you were awesome! You took on two jerks that represented the negative impact that Paris's image has displayed across our country. She said she changed? But only after three weeks? Only because she was jailed? That is typical of someone who was locked up. That feeling will last only until her next drink or when she feels she is no longer in the spotlight. The guys praised her, but are they keeping Paris on a pedastal with the revelation that Paris isn't "Miss Perfect"? I had a great idea...maybe Paris could really become famous for beginning a foundation for Claustrophobic Awareness, then those two guys can report that and feel justified.
Why don't all the Paris Hilton stories move to "Entertainment News" shows?
Even this scripted skit could have been shown on Saturday Night Live or The Daily Show with Jon Stewart -- and those 3 valuable minutes could have been spent covering real news of the day?
And the endless local crime stories could be moved to "Court TV" thus providing even more time for real news of the day.
