Clearly, the driver on the left had right-of-way as the upside approacher, and the driver on the right should have yielded. On the other hand, neither displayed intentions of moving to one side or the other, so both could be seen as compromisingly negligent. Still, the greater burden rests with whomever is moving from the right, as simple interpretation of existing regulations indicate. In it's simplest terms, the driver having clearest view of the direction of movement has the determinate obligation to act, and where this can not be established conclusively, then the driver approaching the scene of the incident from the lower angle is most obligated to take action to avoid a conflagatory outcome.
Sheesh.....I think I ought to write laws....the gift of confusion combined with a smidgeon of believability...actually, that's how Obama got into office, right?
That, plus a few Chardonnays..........hah...got it nailed.
Funny how even a video of a train wreck can revert back to the presidency of the United States.....or maybe might be a closer connection than I first thought!
howdy .... i have never understood why people who graduate with a degree in economics get diplomas stating the discipline as a "science" ...... it seems that the dumbest motherfukers gravitate to economics or education .... it took greenspan 20 yrs to get his doctorate... umass would have thrown him out on his ass.... anyhow it's not brainsurgery, we need jobs now, we need jobs in the future, ..... we need to start making stuff ... besides pickup trucks .... people who argue for corporate tax cuts need to know that most corporations don't pay hardly any taxes ... this is abetted by the impossibly complex tax code written in large part by corporate sponsored lobbyists .... i don't now how to compete with 3rd world countries which pay a subsistence wage, but i bet someone on glumbert could figure it out ....
ps ... beware of scenarios that include advice and representation or restructure defined by the I.M.F. ..... that is the path that every fucked up 3rd world country has taken ... it will ultimately lead to a future of indentured servitude .....
Chuck - That's funny, I was listening to talk radio and they had a republican economist on trying to explain how the economy does not depend on jobs, but on investment. LOL!
I'm a little speechless that the fucking government just passed a bill that no one had a clue what was in it. Apparently change has not come to the US.
The economy runs on people needing to meet their basic needs: eat, shit, sleep, fuck.
Fill one of those needs and you have a solid business.
But Obama was the one compaigning on transparancy, and posting new laws on the internet for 5 days for all Americans to review, before signing into law. Change my ass. When America is bankrupt and suffering hyper-inflation, it will all be Obama's fault.
formula for success.
be black (ish), unthreatening, speak in deep many voice, take tranquilisers and appear unflappable. mention former great presidents, compare yourself to them. surround yourself with second rate assholes. bury the chicago bodies who might expose you. take a term - two a bonus - retire at age 50 and make mega bucks on after dinner circuit.
result! america conned yet again. sad but true.
i apologise unreservedly to all my fellow americans. obviously the electoral process is flawed, but the stature of a man like obama transcends that.
but you've still been fucked.
