I worked at office max and a dude came in with what looked like a black plasic pancake about 4" in diameter. He asked, can you get my stuff off this. We're like well first of all what is it? The guys like can't you tell, no looks like a black blob of what something used to be. Dude's like it's a Sharp Zarus(old skool PDA). He proceeds to tell us, it would get wavy lines in the screen and then he noticed if it warmed up a bit, the lines would go away. Then he worked out a system where he'd place it in the oven for a preset time before he went to work. Well you can figure out from here, he forgot to take it out and his Zarus got over cooked. We could not keep from laughing, we apologized but still, when he wanted an exchange with no receipt and wanted us to transfer the data!? We turned it over to discover two little bubbles where the batteries had exploded. I felt for the guy but lots of heat and electronics don't mix,... Dude transfer your data from this black pancake, you can't be serious.
