yeah man, this is a whole new way to do it. and it's standard tunings, too. looks hard but once you know what to do, it a relaxed playing this style. you can get into it. put in the feeling, and get the listener into it with you. check it out if you want to play a straight guitar. Charlie Hunter does the same deal plus plays a bass line that makes you think there's gotta be two or three dude pulling this shit off. I'm with percoplus with the "that's why I don't play guitar" thing! Nice vid.
Andy, thank you for your incredible song and talent. The song is light, airy, breezy, and a toe-tapper to boot! Love the style and flair with all the individual sounds being played at the same time. What a gift! Magical!
this is absolutely amazing. I'm a drummer/percussionist and the feel/groove that Andy gets with this piece is awesome. Obviously the music is great too. Nice one!!!
My Brother is as (or) more talented than this dude.
But , I'll tell you anyone who can play like Andy should definately get a BIG APPLAUSE !!!!!!
WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO !
Tommy Emmanuel, the Australian guitarist who is as famous in that country as Elvis is in the US, uses acoustic effects in his playing as well. His concert marked the first time I had ever seen such an incredible series of sounds. Andy's playing here is just as incredible.
Man.....you really have talent. I showed this to my whole family, and we're all amazed. I've played a wide variety of instruments since I was 8 yrs. old, and I can really appreciate this...job well done, and good luck with any future music career you definitely deserve.
