What this shows it that McCain isn't the slick politician that Obama is. That's exactly why I'll vote for him---Obama is TOO slick. He's a great speaker, but the world has suffered much too much from demagogues.
What an intelligent comment. "I wont vote for obama because his name rhymes with Osama and I think he's a terrorist to this country even though there's no evidence pointing to that. BAAAAAAAAAAAAWWW"
I won't be voting for either because they're both thieving fascists (obama, possibly more so).
Really? It seems to me both those candidates aren't afraid of involving the government in market distributions, what with McCain and his tax credits and Obama wanting to nationalize entire sectors. They're both fascists.
You're quite right - anyone can be MADE to look a fool with clips
However McCain IS a fool with or without the help of an editing suite; too old, too out of touch, too irrational, too conservative, too incontinent, too dangerous, too much like Bush
Thank you, Glumbert, for this compilaton of actual evidence of Sen. J. McCain's absolute thorough stupidity, cluelessness and incompetence. Stunning in its scope, it is. And its brilliance is enhanced, by the Faux News-viewer above, who still stupidly believes its only a series of clips designed to "make someone look like a fool", as opposed to actually facing the reality of it all by simply accepting that these STUPID things actually and truly came out of this STUPID mans mouth.
This will be a cake-walk for Obama. I've already told you republi-goon hacks inasmuch. The sun is about to set on all of the insipid, inane, ignorant, STUPID policies you've had had your way with, for the last 8 years. You shall be G-O-N-E. You shall be E-X-T-I-N-C-T. You shall be O-B-S-O-L-E-T-E.
The only question that will remain, is who will have the will to hand over this entire current (soon-to-be F-O-R-M-E-R) Administration to the International Criminal Court in the Hague......for swift prosecution.
I will personally volunteer my time.....free-of-charge.
"Your" "a loon" = "Canuck owns" "a loon" Given that Canuck is a Canadian, and the $1 coin in Canada is often called a Loonie, (because it has a picture of a bird on the back of it, specifically the "loon," that is probably true, but not a very interesting observation. (Although I do hope (for Canuck's sake,) that he has more than one loon.) Canuck doesn't have to spend his loon on meds though, (nationalized medicine and all that,) so I really don't know why you brought it up...
My grandfather used to have that same goofy look on his face when I asked him a question. He also wore tin foil on his head and ate cat food. He rode away on a tricycle and I never saw him again.
I have been to Iceland. It's very expensive, the women look like a cross between pixies and pekinese dogs and there is nothing to do.
The scenery is wonderful though and the geysers are spectacular.
They also have a banking sector which seems to be riding out the storm due to some fairly dodgy trading.
Not to mention inordinate amounts of drinking to be had whilst chasing the stag and hen parties that frequent Reykjavik...
And the fact you'll pay virtually sod all for heating and lighting as about 70% plus energy is renewable
The UNHDI puts Iceland first in the list of world's most developed nations, and it has the second longest life expectancy on the planet.
Downside is Alcoholics Anonymous World Headquarters compiled AA group membership data in countries around the world back in 1991.
The nation with the highest number of AA members was Iceland with almost 800 groups per million.
This is a strong indicator of greater perceived alcohol problems in Iceland - I however feel it to be simply an easier excuse to get together for a party
I would go visit, if only for the opportunity to start a bar brawl with Bjork
I'm going to vote for Obama, (I've met him a few months ago, he took questions at my office for 2 hours without a script or aids or anything. He is very very smart.)
However, as for the question about Mr. Bernanke at 0:32, I don't think anybody has that sort of expertise, McCain, Obama, or even Bernenke. Right now the interest rate is below the inflation rate, a distinction held by exactly two countries in the world, the US and Zimbabwe, and in case you haven't noticed the economic powerhouse that is Zimbabwe, well, there is a reason for that: Long term, that tends to do very very bad things, something Japan found out a few years ago, so while on one hand Bernenke needed to cut interest rates to keep people from being forced out of their homes, on the other hand, killing the economy to do it isn't cool either. Where that balance really is, and where they thought that balance should be based on the evidence they had when they actually cut the interest rates, isn't an easy decision... Lets face it, our economy isn't just off the green and into the weeds, we are in the woods and we don't even know which way to turn to get to the hole anymore. For McCain to admit is at least honest and I can't fault him for that.
The man is running for the highest elected position in the land and has admitted he dosen't know SHIT about the economics of the very nation he wants to lead......and you "can't fault him" for being honest about his own ignorance?
Plus.....have you ever heard Obama talk at length about the economy? On the contrary......I think he has a slightly bit more "clue" then that foolish idiot who wants to be King.
I think you misunderstood my point. I can't fault him for not knowing the answer to the question he was asked at 0:32 in the video.
I can (and do) fault McCain for being an idiot in general and the fact that he was considered too old to run 8 years ago and the fact that I disagree with him on almost every single major issue.
However, my point is that anybody that has a quick and simple answer to the question that was asked at 0:32 probably doesn't understand the issues there and their answer is therefor most likely wrong.
Well...he IS uninformed. Here we go with another puppet controlled by those who control the current president. It's a pity US citizens vote only for the nominee and their surface perception of him rather than the party he represents.
I still find it amazing that voters would switch from Hillary to McCain rather than Obama when McCain's policies are obviously further removed from Hillary's.
Please, Americans, vote for someone who's the better diplomat. Someone who can repair the perception the world has of you.
And don't let those who are currently mucking it up continue along their path (not yours). McCain will be just another puppet signing their blank cheques. He doesn't represent a change (like putting a new saddle on your old arthritic horse).
