INteresting, O'Reilly was calling out Senator Frank for being Chairman of the House Financial Services committee who showed NO oversight on the banking industry they were supposed to be watching.
Instead, Chairman Frank as disclosed by his own website took hundred of thousands of dollars in campaign funds from the likes of Countrywide, Chase, Wells Fargo, WAMU, and countless other institutions they were supposed to be watching.
So now liberals are pissed that he is pointing out, once again, the Democrats are more corrupt than most republicans, but if you point this out you will be attacked about shit that you never said in an attempt to sway the mass of mindless, uninformed morons who would buy this crap. LIke Canuck.
I saw the same interview, and all I saw was O'Leilly acting like a primordal slug and blowing his stack......while I saw Frankie telling O'Leilly he was full of shit because he was twisting his words.
Wait, I can't let it go.
I noticed you hate his style but not his assertions. About which point did O'Lielly not tell truth?
Does this criterion apply to BHO as well?
No, I sounded like O'Reilly or Canuck trying to make a point. No facts, just screaming insults. Real Republicans make great arguements all the time, you just don't listen.
at least he's funny... ex: re:character of mitt romney "The real Romney is clearly an extraordinarily ambitious man with no perceivable political principle whatsoever. He is the most intellectually dishonest human being in the history of politics." ha could not have said that better myself

A spate of bombings opened the workweek in Baghdad. At least 10 Iraqis were killed and another 25 were wounded across the country. Meanwhile, the Shi'ite coalition in government suggested that a potential security pact with the U.S. needs more discussion and amendments. Also, the new British defense secretary is in Baghdad to discuss a similar deal for British troops.
The Shi'ite Coalition, lead by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, has said that a U.S-Iraqi security pact, supposedly in its final draft, will need more amendments before they approve it. The deal has been in discussions for months, but in recent weeks, news stories falsely trumpeting a finalized deal have made the headlines. Among the snags are immunity for U.S. troops, a solid pullout date for American servicemembers and assurance of Iraqi sovereignty. Political rival Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has condemned the security deal.
British Defense Secretary John Hutton met Prime Minister al-Maliki to negotiate a new pact during his first trip to Baghdad today. Al-Maliki recently suggested British troops leave Iraq as their usefulness in security is over; however, al-Maliki has been angry with the British since last year when the British made a secret deal with Maliki's political rivals.
In Baghdad, a roadside bomb targeting a police patrol near a petrol station in Zaafaraniya killed two people and wounded ten more. A second bomb exploded nearby shortly afterwards, wounding another seven people. A third bomb wounded five people in Ghazaliya. Police in Karrada were able to defuse a fifth bomb. One dumped body was found in Amin. Also, Coalition forces detained four Hezbollah Brigades suspects.
Five men were killed in Balad when gunmen attacked the home of an Awakening Council (Sahwa) leader. Two women and a child were also wounded. There is no word as to whether all the casualties belonged to the same family. The leader of the U.S-backed security group was among the dead.
In Mosul, two suspects were detained. The Human Rights Ministry declared that the exodus of Christians from the city has stopped, but they will not be allowed to return until the city is secure. About, 2,270 families have registered themselves as displaced. Any of a number of political factions or even al-Qaeda could be behind the attempted ethnic cleansing.
Gunmen killed a policeman in Zanjili.
In Bartala, gunmen killed a guard working for the Kurdistan%u2019s Democratic Party. The dead man's son was kidnapped six months ago.
A suspected Islamic State in Iraq leader was picked up in Hawija.
Eight suspects were arrested in Dhi Qar province.
An al-Qaeda commander was detained in Mijadad.
In Suwayra, 75 families were able to return to their former homes. The area used to be a haven for gunmen, and bodies were frequently dumped in the complex irrigation system.
A body belonging to the son of a Samarra municipal council was among those discovered yesterday in a mass grave. Authorities believe the group was killed sometime last year.
Turkey continued its air assault against suspected Kurdistan Rebel Party (PKK) targets in northern Iraq. This latest campaign began two weeks ago when PKK separatists conducted a particularly bloody assault against Turkish troops. Turkey believes the attack was staged from rebel hideouts across the border in Iraq, but the PKK has denied this."
THAT....was yesterday.....THIS...is today:
"Updated at 11:55 p.m. EDT, Oct. 20, 2008
At least 28 Iraqis were killed and another 16 were wounded in the latest attacks. Also, a U.S. Marine was killed in a non-combat incident at a base in Anbar. Meanwhile, the U.S. and Iraq have apparently agreed on a security pact that was in limbo only yesterday; however, previous rumors over the deal's acceptance proved false. Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zebari said that it would not be finalized before U.S. presidential elections.
Police interrogating a suspect learned the location of a mass grave containing ten bodies near Fallujah.
In Baghdad, a bomb that blasted a double-decker bus left two people dead and seven others wounded in Fadiliya; the bus was carrying employees of the Housing Ministry. Two people were killed and two others were wounded during a bomb blast in Maysaloon Square. A body was dumped in Ghadeer. Also, U.S. forces detained 15 suspects across the city, while Iraqi forces arrested another 15 suspects.
In Mosul, six family members were wounded during a roadside bomb blast in Dhibat. A sniper killed a man in Borsa, while gunmen in Sahin Al-Sham killed a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. A roadside bomb killed a man and wounded another. Christian families were asked to return to Mosul, only a day after they were told to wait.
Three bombers killed themselves when the explosives they were planting in Mandali detonated prematurely. Another report said they died in clashes.
One body was found in Buhriz. Army forces killed two gunmen.
Police conducting a raid in Muqdadiya accidentally killed a civilian.
A roadside bomb killed a civilian contractor near his home in Khanaqin.
Three Awakening Council (Sahwa) members were arrested in Baquba on suspicion of working with al-Qaeda. Sahwa fighters are Sunnis who turned against al-Qaeda last year and began working with U.S. forces. This change in loyalty helped reduce the number of casualties in Iraq last year. At the beginning of October, the U.S. handed over authority of the Sahwa Councils to the Iraq government. Many Sahwa are worried that the Shi'ite led government will treat them unfairly, and some have even been arrested by a fearful Iraqi government.
Iraqi forces killed two suspects and arrested 51 other across Iraq.
Four oil smuggling suspects were detained north of Kirkuk. Two other suspects were captured south of the city.
Six suspects were picked up in Tal Aswad.
Three Iranian Revolutionary Guards were detained along with a guide after entering Iraq illegally near Kut. The guide may have been a local council member. The trio were found with guns, binoculars and ammunition. Police seized arms and munitions in a separate incident. Also, a military man was arrested while attempting to kill a civilian.
Security forces arrested 65 suspects across Ninewa province.
Ten suspects were detained across Missan province."
(more "surge success" stories to follow you....wherever you go....and feel free to let the torture-lover read them; he might learn something as well)
IQ1- did you read some of those and their sources? Rife with out of context errors. But, I suppose you would have to think. Too, too much to ask.
C-: Where's your balance, Mr. Unbiased? You assert that you think the media are unbiased therefore a reliable via accuracy source of the news. So, since almost everyone claims that the surge is succeeding and reaching goals, etc...where's your balance to these reports?
Bigot
Canuck, is Iraq better now than it was 1 year ago? If so, the surge worked, or the awakening worked, or those darn Iraqis are doing an outstanding job. I don't care if you agree if the surge worked. Guess what Obama wants to do in Afghanistan? A surge...
Even though Obama also won't admit the surge in Iraq helped.
Yes, Obama wants a "surge" in Afghanistan....BECAUSE HE'S SAID ALL ALONG THAT THAT IS WHERE THE FUCK Y'ALL SHOULD HAVE GONE FROM DAY ONE, INSTEAD OF EYE-RAKK!!!
Goddamn.
And if you think that a occupation/war zone, is "no better than Chicago", YOU need a serious reality check.
But as each day goes by....add it up (don't worry----I WILL give you plenty of deaths to add up).
But why on Earth would we want a surge in Afghanistan, if the surge in Iraq has been such a disaster? Is this really poor leadership on Obama's part, or are Obama and you both denying the obvious success of the surge in Iraq?
Regardless of whether we ever should have been in Iraq in the first place, we were there, and Iraq was on the brink of civil war last year. We had to do something. Obama wanted to leave Iraq to a bloody civil war. And who was the champion of the surge in Iraq, which has pulled Iraq back from the edge of civil war? McCain. Try being honest for a change. You must like change don't you?
You neglected Afghanistan (where you SHOULD have gone), in favour of going into Iraq (where you SHOULDN'T have gone, and had NOTHING to do with 9/11), letting OBL---the mastermind behind 9/11-----get away scott-free and letting Afghanistan stand where it is today: falling back gradually into Taliban hands/influence. And as a result, Obama is saying let's get the fuck in there FAST, to do what we SHOULD have done in the first place, several years ago.
That about sum it up?
Please.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (unthinkable, I know).
