Advertisers and the purveyors of specious ideas will state that advertising does not work. If so then why do they continue to do it? In truth it works very very well. So well that the masses will accept these ideas into their mental framework without exorcising the slightest effort of analysis before doing so.
Throughout human history there are the few who cannot be programmed by the power hungry elites, and they are normally marginalized or expunged, but not usually by those who seek power, but by the legions of believers that they have created. In this way the ideas are self sustaining, and provide distance between the movement, and those who benefit.
I saw on the news that the Hanna Montana concert was not only lip synched by it wasn't even her on stage. I don't think it even matters to the 'believers', so the deception is ignored and even incorporated into the whole idolatry.
This type of event is repeated in every aspect of life. There is deception, and lots of it.

skid - I have done almost all of it differently, and on purpose most of the time. It has cost me much, and it has been at a price that most would be unwilling to pay.
And I am also just another cog in the machine, but I am human and need food, heat, shelter, etc. To take a parallax view of life is the life of an artist, a engineer, a fry cook, whatever, or anyone who wants to over arch the banalities of life.
It is worth taking a few years to really think through the many levels of reality that we live in, (I took over 20), and put every belief I held onto the same doubtful plane. Picked each one up and examined it for validity, and then excepted it, modified it, put it back for lack of info, or rejected it.
In other parts of the world they call it the journey to enlightenment.
... and as you can see it is not a search for perfection (except/accept), as evidenced by my improper word usage above. It really is not about being better, worse, different, or whatever, but is a internal quest for the well ordered quiet mind.

shit, I'm so close to retirement, yet, one of my best friends died last night playing basketball. He retired last summer, some say work til ya drop, they live to be 80-90 , But who wants to do that, I just want to flyfish and meet podman.
I think it's 1- to be alone, 2- a connection to my late grandfather, 3- the wonderful feeling on outwitting (please no comments) the fish. I do release all. That way I've helped to educate them.

I have fished all over Scotland, and there are some wonderful salmon, sea trout and wild brown trout waters here.
that was a rainbow I think or steelhead. Also was on the henry Forks, nice river.
I fish everywhere, I live on a great steam in western mass. Been flyfishing for 50 yrs, skiing for 60yrs, and getting layed for ,,,hell I forget.

What band is this?? and ya funny as hell...there all lip syncing and not playing their instruments...i mean it could all be wireless but i mean theres no amps, monitors, drum mics (which they might not have needed but honestly if your playing a show that big you're gonna need em.
