I've seen a doco about this guy before. He does something to the sketches to deactivate the erase function. He's able to ship them overseas without any picture degradation. Clever chap really.
I agree that it would be horrible if the etch a sketch thing really was his only artistic talent (not touching the hip hop career), but I have to believe that in order to do something that detailed and precise, he must have drawing/painting skills as well. Here's to hoping.
Don't worry, he is probably making A LOT of money with it. Individual sketches start at $7,500 and he sells paintings as well. Given the amount of people with lack of taste and too much money in the US, he surely sells his stuff easily. ;-)
Hes clearly not wasting his talents bro.... he obviously is getting some attention here and Id have to agree that he probably draws or paints. And do you really care if his parents paid for his college and how well its served them.... come on.
