Man, I used to have this on tape!! Back in the 80's. If I remember correctly, it's from the 9th Annual Young Comedian's Special. It starred Bob Saget before he was on sitcoms, Maurice LaMarche (who went on to do tons of cartoon voices), Louie Anderson, Rita Rutner, and tons of others! Man, this was back when Betamax tapes were still popular!
I used to have this tape, a lot of good comedians before they made it big. Sam Kinison was hilarious!!! And yes he was a Baptist preacher before he turned to comedy.
At the time of this performance he was at the top of his game and just about the funniest guy out there. After 20 years, I still tell young people who never had a chance to see him the Uhaul, luggage and sand bit. So funny, I laughed so hard I cried. Miss him still.
Comedians were funny before all of the "Politically Correct" censorship of free speech. I miss Sam K, Rodney D, and all the other politically incorrect humor.
Nothing destroys the darker aspects of human nature like the light of humor.
