WOW!! That was fantastic!!!
For dave, the song is "Carry That Weight" written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and was released in 1969 by The Beatles on the Abbey Road album
I think of the millions of times I listened to this song off of the Abbey Road album and this is a great way to spread its greatness to others
If you listen to the 3 different guitar rifts at the end of the song, one is by George Harrison, one is by Eric Clapton and one is by Jimi Hendrix
See if you can tell which one is which
Actually you are both right.....Starts out with "Golden Slumbers", then goes into "Carry That Weight" and finishes with "The End". Definitely no Clapton or Hendrix...sorry!
Actually, actually... it is called "The Medley" and is an approximate 16 minute collection of several songs: You Never Give Me Your Money", "Sun King", "Because", "Mean Mr. Mustard", "Polythene Pam", "She Came In Thru the Bathroom Window", "Golden Slumbers", "Carry That Weight" and "The End". "Her Majesty" (not part of the medley) was the first ever "hidden track" cut on an album. Abbey Road was probably the best album ever produced by the Beatles - or - any group.
