"I have had a lot of sick people on my show". Why does he keep giving them a stage if not just to have something to be upset about? Forget about green or blue, if fundamentalists ruled the world it would be only either blood red or beige.
The sick people are the show master and his audience.
As for the band: Shocking people is the easiest way to get their attention. No idea if they make anything that qualifies as music but they sure play their role.
