Walk up and sit on the guys feet and then start stroking his calves. All the while staring at him with a very seductive smile on my face. That way he when he wakes up he can't move right away and is really creeped out. That very eerie feeling would be left with him all day long.

I for one do not hate the sheriff ,only a few bloggers that can't understand his humour do. The sheriff is much deeper than shown by his glumbertoreion posts. The attacks on him & his spouse are created similar to the attacks on my posts are based on misguided jealous persons who lives are so bad that they see everything from their sewer holes .This gives them a perspective that everything is bigger than it would be if these nefarious posters were standing nose to with everyone else .

Greetings, Infinity. Hope you bring humor or information or wit or anything positive to this site, and hope you enjoy the wide-ranging goings-on that Glumbert plays host to.

Re: Canuck - one would hope you'd get just a little familiar with your target before deciding to begin firing. He does, in fact, add as much or more to this site (or did until recently) than any other single poster. He also researches before he comments. He has an amazing command of the "vernacular" (a gentle word for his ability to passionately berate those he feels have "gone over the line") which does draw insults from others. On balance, though, he is far superior to his most dedicated critics, of which group qlanettint is the most outspoken member over the recent past.

I would encourage your further investigation before joining what you might later discover is merely a small number of misguided and largely disrespected pests. If it is true that one is "know by the company he keeps", best keep away from those whose only contribution to this site is base vulgarity and gross insult.

Welcome.....regards, Chaz

Chaz, you know, I made my peace with Canuck months ago and he doesn't bother me nearly as much as he used to. I think it probably helps that I'm here far less than I used to be. He's a very well spoken (if not pompous and arrogant, even if it is only his assumed persona in this ridiculous site of overblown characters) fellow and does bring good debate and discussion to the table. I think his grandiose style and self-effused infallibility are what make him so polarizing and cause so many to dislike him.

Equally as sad as the outspoken detractors are the legion followers and hangers on who vehemently defend him and loudly shout his praises at the drop of a hat. If you hate the guy fine, but don't make yourself look like an ass trying to break one off in him. If you love him, I suppose that's fine too but don't act like a brainwashed idiot jumping to his defense all the time. He's a big boy and can handle or not handle the naysayers on his own. The rest need to get over him. In the words of Incubus "he's not Jesus, yeah he's no f-ing Elvis...

s9le....just finding you here. You seem to harbor real negative feelings regarding Canuck....which apparently qualifies you for membership in an A/C club (Anti/Canuck). That seems to be a popular group, but I think it might be largely uninformed, or at least, unappreciative of intelligent humor.

I really don't wish to forward Canuck's cause, as he has sometimes grated my cheese, but the man is more intelligent than what I am seeing from your vantage. Carry on with whatever....but unless you contribute wit, humor, substance or other worthwhile thoughts to this site, get lost.

In the meantime, this site will be graced with insights and humor and wit and fun, quite apart from your invective. And when Canuck decides to rejoin the site, I wish you to be far gone. Perhaps youTube is more to your liking.

As others have bid.....bah bye.

Chaz, it seems you've only read into my words what you wanted to hear. I DON'T have as much a problem with him as I used to. Months ago him and I did have it out and managed to come to a peaceful conclusion, perhaps even a mutual understanding. I don't believe any of what I wrote to be incorrect about him and how he comes across. He himself said that he plays an overblown character on this site and it's an exaggeration of his true persona. And he is very polarizing, proven by the large numbers of those who either hate him or praise his existence.

What I find odd is that most of my contempt was aimed at those who blindly praise and defend him and not at the man himself, yet you took my words as an attack on him and jumped to his defense (despite your claims that you weren't). It just seems sad to me the vast number that revere him as some infallible messiah of prose and wit around here. I think that's more annoying than anything Canuck himself has done. Again, he IS very well spoken and can be funny. He's also grating and pompous at times. Not a bad guy overall though.

Anyway, just my thoughts on the situation. Take them for what you will, I've got no hard feelings toward you and I wish you a pleasant afternoon.

And thanks for the suggestion but I'm nowhere near dumb enough to fit in on youtube ::shudder:: :)

All my uppity remarks these past few months about "gun rights" and all the associated rah rah rights "rants" of mine, have been to underscore the FACT AND REALITY of the need for a person to defend ones self (or in this case, others). Since I need to get my ass to work, I won't babble on....just read the article.....

Miter....hell of a story ! Maybe you'll get honored like Canuck ! ?

Frankly, I have to wonder if I could have done what you did...never having owned a gun, probably I'd need to tote a crowbar in the car (which I do, but more out of procrastinating its return to the garage than for self-defense). Somehow I don't think that would have been as effective as your actions, but then again, the cops would probably not have confiscated my crowbar either, even though it's unlicensed.

Kudos, Miter....way to go!

Chuck - I think I get your point. 4th amendment rights re: search and siezure, unwarranted intrusion into citizens' private affairs do seem to have been compromised - diluted - by the current administration in certain situations.

But....the upgrading of security for what might be logical targets for terrorists seems pretty OK to me (re: NYPD subway security). I do assume the training of those involved is complete, and never-ending.

What doesn't make sense to me is allowing a new spectacular replacement for the twin towers on the same site. Might as well paint a bullseye on it.

A second catastrophic disaster would certainly work to "...keep america scared...", for sure, and a second shining symbol of capitalism for the profane western infidels, while it might look like good ol' amurican "can do" and spit in the eye of them towel heads, would unquestionably become the highest order in terms of terrorist targetting.

I'm not qualified to provide learned answers, but my questions are fairly simple....is there a point where the "greater good"/"common good" takes prescedent over "individual rights"?....and if so, in what manner is that issue managed? It is easy to demand protection, and easy to condemn when security fails...but might the cost of truly effective security be some level of compromise by those championing the totally unfettered exercise of the very freedoms used by terrorists in their quest to annihilate us?

Sorry....I seemed to have gone off on a toot here. I do worry...there are no easy answers, and always the strident voices of those on the far edges of either views to polarize opinions. Oh well.....I think it's time for a nice chardonnay.

Thanks Chaz, it was pretty freaky, and happened so fast, I didn't think, I reacted! Sitting at a light, next thing I know this dude in front of me has a (big young) crazy man kicking his car, he gets out and pow, down he goes, then he started kicking the hell out of him, two women, (each had to go at least 300 lbs.) came out of nowhere and started stomping on his head! I thought the dude was dead for sure! It was sick the way the one girl was kicking him, this girl is a messed up person, so next thing I know (I barely remember doing it) I have em all on the ground, in the middle of a busy street, at gunpoint! Seemed like forever till the boys in blue got there, they said to "toss" the gun, I didn't want to scratch it, so I slowly set it down (in retrospect, probably not a good idea) , they didn't like that, so I got cuffed and stuffed till they figured the whole thing out...anyway I'm not really supposed to talk about it, they've already plead guilty, but my lawyer says to keep it zipped!

Can this be the last time for being at the right place at the wrong time...PLEASE!

See Mr mitercut thats what you get for being a good samaritan.

A passing motorist stopped his car, pulled a gun and demanded the trio stop beating the man, Heller said.

Police responded to several calls reporting a man holding people at gunpoint. Officers determined the man with a gun had a legitimate concealed weapons permit and was trying to help, Heller said.

Thats classic I would have done anything to see that.

Yoo Torture Memo Says Fourth Amendment Doesn't Apply in War on Terror
By Ryan Singel April 02, 2008 | 8:40:29 PmCategories: Nsa

John Yoo, the former Bush Administration lawyer who now teaches at UC Berkeley's law school, authored the torture memo that cleared the way for the U.S. military to begin torturing suspected Al Qaeda members in Guantanamo and black site prisons, as well as Iraqis in Abu Ghraib. (note:..5th amendment violation)
Perhaps less well known is that Yoo also wrote a legal opinion blessing the president's targeting of American citizens for searches without legal warrant ,
in his advisory capacity Yoo writes "our Office recently concluded that the Fourth Amendment had no application to domestic military operations."

beside abridging our inalienable rights what domestic military operations was he referring to????too bad we don't have a real legislative branch of government...they could begin impeachment proceedings immediately...
then we could all get together and hang professor yoo for treason

Miter, I appreciate your comments on firearms. Education is the key.

Growing up in a home with hunting rifles around I never gave much thought to guns OR to what other people's perceptions of them might be. And I never thought I would want to own one myself (not much into shooting Bambi, but damn the eatin part is right up there on my list! ), but since purchasing my own home 5 years ago, my thoughts have changed. My husband (who owns hunting rifles and some family heirlooms- black powder) and I have been discussing some sort of pistol for me, since I drive a long distance in the early weekend mornings on a remote country highway... scary....what to get is our only question. Any thoughts?

what is the intrigue of having a gun? i really do not get it, please inform , meant sincerely
2 weeks ago
Hi Skids, haven't seen you in a while!
Hi Skid, how've you been!

No intrigue, not even a big deal...until as of late..enter "gun control" an extremely misguided attempt to "demonize" an inanimate object. Do "they" (anti gun, left wing extremists and the like) do this with autos?, medicine?, swimming pools?, bicycles?, etc. etc., no they don't, and they each individually kill more "innocents" every year than guns....by a very large order of magnitude. As a matter of fact, they save literally millions of people a year, just in the USA alone! The reality of"having a gun" is merely possessing a tool to help get through life, not for all, but for a very large portion of humanity and for many different reasons. A firearm is the great equalizer, it stops tyranny in it's tracks, it defends the weak, puts "teeth" in law enforcement, puts food on the table, creates millions if not billions of dollars in revenue, for many "entities", federal, state, and local municipalities, keeps many employed, I could go on and on! So now we (gun owners, constitutionalists, Joe Blow average guy) must rise up and defend the most precious right of all, the right of self defense. Guns do not kill, people kill! I've owned and own, dozens of guns, for over 30 plus years, never, ever, has one jumped up off the table (or should I say out of the gun safe) and gone off, or killed someone! I have been smashed into by a drunk driver, have had several friends killed by autos, even lost a friend as a kid to drowning in the family pool, I myself almost died from a prescription med (prilosec for heartburn) guess I didn't read the fine print about all the deaths it has caused, my bad.

So in ending, the intrigue has been a modern addition to a long, proud, history making, life saving, work saving "tool" of modern man...that until recent history, wasn't thought of any differently than a hammer.

Hope I've informed!

Miter, a few thoughts here:

You need to get a license and have an insurance to drive a car which is designed for transportation, but you basically only need the money to buy a gun which is designed for killing (which does not imply everyone who owns a gun is a killer).

If you claim millions are saved every year by guns, then why don't millions of people die every year in the countries that have strict gun control?

If you want power to overthrow a corrupt government in private hands, then where do you buy a carrier group or two to have a chance against GWB? At best it is an illusion that you could stand up against any government force (though I do have to admit I like the underlying idea quite a bit).

As you know I am shooting for sports, so I am not against private gun ownership. But I think uncontrolled gun ownership without any license and any verification if the gun owner is mentally sane and trained in proper and safe handling is a dangerous thing.
Deb, I would say go try a few, there are many types and styles. Revolver, semi auto (auto loader), large caliber, small caliber. If you're talking personal or home protection, let me link you to all the answers to your questions, and thanks for asking me. I always like to help educate, and going to this link will do just that!

http://www.tincher.to/hgfaq.htm
Deb, if you get any gun make sure to get the training as well. A gun in untrained hands is dangerous. You should know the handling and maintenance, otherwise you run the risk of injuring yourself or other innocent people. Handling a gun is nothing to be afraid of but requires the necessary respect for the destructive potential.
thanks, miter I'll check this out.

Bug, I promise, if I decide to do this, I'll get proper training... I would'nt feel right about it otherwise.
Bug,

Before anyone can purchase a gun you must first go through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) which is a point-of-sale system for determining eligibility to purchase a firearm in the United States of America. Federal Firearms Licence holders are required by law to use the NICS to determine if it is legal to sell a firearm to a prospective purchaser. The NICS determines if the buyer is prohibited from buying a firearm under the Gun Control Act of 1968. It is linked to the National Crime Information Center.

Additionally, if you're were to buy a handgun or pistol, you must also go through a few more hoops...depending on your state, here in Michigan you must first go to local law enforcement to obtain a permit to purchase, then (after purchase) you have ten days to return to the permit issuer for a "safety inspection" of the pistol. This would be the registering process.

Not quite the way you have described it now is it! That is the type of misleading and false information that has helped to "demonize" something
that's merely an inanimate object. You say "a gun which is designed for killing" what about a gun designed for protecting?

Which segways into your question......

"then why don't millions of people die every year in the countries that have strict gun control?" I misstated myself by saying "millions of lives saved" I should have said 2.5 million (per year, latest stats from DOJ) crimes are thwarted in some way or another with a gun per year (the majority of which it was not fired) which to me shows another "design" intent....as an equalizer, to halt a crime without anyone needing to be hurt.

Your next point, overthrowing a government without "a carrier group or two" is one I hear all the time. The fact is, sometimes the government we need to keep at bay is one that's not federal. Just examine the whole fiasco in New Orleans! As looters and thugs took over, the city%u2019s leaders turned their crosshairs and iron sights toward the lawful, gun-toting citizens who sought nothing more than to defend themselves from the marauding hordes. In what proved to be the greatest real-life test case of the Second Amendment in American history, and the "local government" failed miserably! New Orleans residents who legally defied mandatory evacuation orders to protect their property, and who were subsequently beaten, harassed and robbed of their guns by the very civil authority that was funded and charged to protect them! So as you can see, it does happen in these very times...no carriers required.

After the recent Virginia Tech massacre, where a mentally deranged psychopath went on a murderous rampage, the laws were changed to add into the NICS, mandatory reporting from doctors/hospitals to the courts, of persons who are a danger to themselves or others. The VT killer was adjudicated just that and sent to a hospital for "help", this info did not make it into the "system".

So as you can see "uncontrolled gun ownership without any license and any verification if the gun owner is mentally sane" is not happening in the US....by legal law abiding citizens anyway, but then, that's not where the threat lies now is it, no it's with the druggies, rapists, murderers, and as I recently found out, nut cases!

We've been round and round on this before Bug, It really is a cultural thing, we both live in very different places....and at times I envy your place!
Hi Miter, I think no disagreements between us on that topic that we could not discuss over a beer without starting a fight :)

I did not know that the regulations for owning a gun had been tightened in the USA. Do they enforce that on gunshows as well?
Miter thanks for your reply on guns, i'll ignore the left wing dig which you did take back.

I suppose the bottom line is we have to live with guns, there's no going back. I was brought up without guns, guns are not part of the brit culture, apart from the fox hunting sect, so i still don't get it apart from as Chaz points out the need to survive, to hunt.

America does seem to have an unhealthy obessesion with guns which is the part that i find strange and i take your point that you can die doing anything from drowning in a swimming pool to taking the wrong medication.

life is one big risk but you limit the risk by your behaviour, i would say not having a swimming pool is safer than having a swimming pool, same goes with a gun, but there again because most people in america have guns you have to rise to that to protect yourself. If i lived in america and everyone had guns in my neighbourhood then i would probably get one to protect myself, it's a tough call and i know i'm contradicting myself

I suppose human beings adapt to their surroundings.
Sorry Miter. But I still don't get it. Maybe it's a cultural thing. I don't think you have to be "extreme left wing" to oppose the all-too-easy availability of anti-personnel guns and ammunition in the US.
arse - the issue is a bit more than a cultural thing. The right to "keep and bear arms" is listed second in the first ten amendments to the US Constitution (aka, the Bill of Rights). All amendments are taken quite seriously, but the first ten especially so.

An important element in the differing interpretations of this amendment is that this right is based on what the framers saw as a need for "A well regulated militia" to assure the security of the fledgling USA. Today some see private gun ownership as something quite different from the "well regulated militia" referred to in the amendment.

The cultural part is indeed a real element as well...hunting as a necessary means to put food on the table is still a fact in some situations, in some areas. I suspect these people comprise a far smaller portion of the pro-gun constituency than those who hunt for sport (and incidently put food on the table), and those who enjoy target shooting, skeet shooting, gun collecting and similar other motives less compelling than feeding a family.

Still, hunting has long been part of the American way of life. As a common means a for a man to feed his family, hunting is only a few generations in past history. My dad brought pheasant, rabbit, squirrel, and other small game to the dinner table during his hard times. In his youth, hunting was an important factor in many families, and he simply continued as he had been raised. My brother then continued the tradition, though his was pure sport...I don't believe my sister-in-law would tolerate a dead pheasant in her kitchen. I have never hunted...don't think I could kill an animal.

Anyway, this debate is heated any time it occurs. The anti-gun group cites all the deaths that happen because guns are too readily accessible, e.g., some kid appropriates dad's gun and kills someone, accidently or intentionally. We've also had some really bizarre tragedies...the Columbine killings where a couple teens mowed down teachers and students at high school of that name, and a more recent incident of the murder of teachers and students at a college (I think in was U. of West Virginia, but I could be wrong), and so on....where access to guns was too easy, in some peoples estimation.

I suspect the controversy will continue for a very long time, as I don't expect the anti's will have success ending gun ownership any time soon. The pro's have a well organized and financially strong nationwide association to carry on their cause - the NRA, or National Rifle Association. The anti's have many strong supporters, but do not have the big national presence the NRA gives the pro's.

I'm sure others may have more substance to add. I think I'm pretty neutral on the issue. I do wish there was some way to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, lunatics, and children, but I don't think that's possible.

I agree one need not be "extreme left wing" to favor tightening access, but the pro's may think you areif you attempt to forward that notion...they are fiercely defensive of their "right" and do not quietly abide any perceived threat, as such a position is likely to be seen by them (no offense to those in Glumbertville on the pro side of the issue....just an objective observation). The difficulty is that any restrictions put in place will affect the good guys more than they will affect the bad guys (who break laws already). So the pro's will always oppose that sort of regulation.

Good grief...I just reviewed this post - another epic from the poster for whom no single word can be favored where two or more can be used.

BB, that and accidents and mistakes.

Usually legal guns which are owned by responsible citizens are not much of a problem. In Germany less than 0.1% of the crimes with fire arms are done with legal guns. The figure in the USA will be much higher since so many people own guns without any requirements.

Rush Limbaugh Calling For Riots In Denver

TheDenverChannel.com
Friday, April 25, 2008

DENVER -- Talk show host Rush Limbaugh is sparking controversy again after he made comments calling for riots in Denver during the Democratic National Convention this summer.

He said the riots would ensure a Democrat is not elected as president, and his listeners have a responsibility to make sure it happens.

As a young women I hate guns no good can come from them people kill other people and animals with guns. Guns are made to kill and nothing else will persuade me other wise.
Sorry guys its not macho or attractive.
Another young college girl.....who doesn't get it. I recently repaired a "kicked in" front door on my rental house in Ann Arbor, nothing stolen, but in talking to the young lady, she informed me that "nothing every really happens around here, it's a safe place to live" I asked her if she ever read the news? She then said, a few weeks back she was alone in the house in her room (3rd floor) and "turned to find a black man standing there, saying he was looking for his friend" and that she didn't have a good feeling about him, he was dirty with ratty clothes, I asked her if she called the police, "no I didn't want to make a fuss" was her reply!!!!!!!! Apparently she knew nothing of the student rental home invasion problem going on, nor the peeping tom incidents that has the law worried! So I called the cops, they came and had a nice long talk with her!

I "deal" with a few young ladies this age (at the rental, my daughter and her friends) some are quit naive to say the least, but some are quite sharp too. Not surprisingly, the sharp one's are who wanted to learn to shoot and handle a gun safely (I taught them well), two stand out to me...one has a double major in physics and astronomy, the other just graduated law school. Read into that what you want, but the bottom line is, killers, rapists, robbers, perv's don't care what or who you are other than a target.

Average time to complete a horrific crime, 2-5 minutes, average time for police to respond (when finally called) 8-10 minutes. Do the math!
Oh, in real life (not the movies), macho and attractive have nothing to do with it!
But a gun will do you no good if your are psychologically not prepared to use it. And it is also not good if it was just the neighbour who had a drink and tried to open the wrong door...

I guess there is not a simple answer.

From the encounter you had with the three dipshits (and other stories you told) it is obvious that you are a person who can be trusted with a gun and is capable of using it responsively but convincingly. Though how many poeple can say the same thing about themself?
Bug, I wasn't saying for her to use a gun, never even brought it up. I was trying to point out that, well, shit happens around there, bad shit and try to be a bit more aware of things....and most of all, if you find a person in your house, or worse your room, that is cause for great concern and should be (if you can) called in to the authorities IMMEDIATELY!

You're right about being psychologically prepared to defend yourself, that's all in the training that goes with responsible gun ownership. And if you're one of those who carries a concealed pistol, you HAVE to have that training!

Bug, you've repeatedly stated how easy it is to get a gun, it's harder than your think and for a concealed license it's even harder (rightly so) here's a link to my states requirements....

Joint Chiefs chair: US prepping military options against Iran
Mike Sheehan%u2028%u2028Saturday, April 26, 2008
Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the Pentagon is planning "potential" military actions against Iran, reports The Washington Post.
Mullen criticized Iran's "'increasingly lethal and malign influence' in Iraq," writes Ann Scott Tyson for the Post.
Addressing concerns about the US military's capability of dealing with yet another conflict at a time when forces are purportedly stretched thin, Mullen said war with Iran "would be 'extremely stressing' but not impossible for U.S. forces, pointing specifically to reserve capabilities in the Navy and Air Force," Tyson notes........
Mullen's assertion comes a day after American forces reportedly fired warning shots at Iranian speedboats in the Persian Gulf, a confrontation that Iran denies took place.
A prior incident involving U.S. forces in the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian speedboats in January of this year--which Republican White House candidates used (with the notable exception of Ron Paul) as saber-rattling is believed to have been staged.

Army Gen. David H. Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, who was nominated this week to head all U.S. forces in the Middle East, is preparing a briefing soon to lay out detailed evidence of increased Iranian involvement in Iraq,

Shell and BP earn £6bn in 12 weeks
Householders warned of rising power bills as suppliers pass on price risesBy John PhelpsOIL GIANTS BP and Shell will fuel motorists' anger over the latest surge in petrol prices this week when they are expected to disclose they have made a total of more than £6 billion in profit in the opening three months of the year.
Most analysts believe Shell will show substantially unchanged current cost earnings of around £3.4bn on Tuesday, despite production problems, while BP is expected to show a profits recovery from less than £2bn to as much as £2.6bn on the same day.
The bumper figures are due to be released just as Scottish motorists suffer supply restrictions and further petrol price hikes as a result of industrial action at Grangemouth.

They reflect an increase in oil prices from just over $50 a barrel at the start of last year to an average price of $95.50 a barrel in the first quarter of this year - the price has since risen further to nudge the $120 a barrel mark last week.

note... the current exchange.... rate 1 pound = 1.98 dollars
industrial action means workers strike..... (cheap bastards, if your gonna screw us at least pay us)
when baby bush took office oil was $27/barrel

What is going on?!
I maintain computer silence for a few days and when I come back online I find we have a "mystic" who "probes" anybody stupid enough to ask!
OK Prober - tell me about me. I need a good laugh. I had a horoscope reading in Shanghai many years ago which was quite interesting. It was full of dire warnings about my conduct and I was told if I did not mend my ways I would die in an accident at sea. Now, this may yet come to pass, but as I spend a fair bit of my life in boats crewed by retards it wouldn't be very surprising.
Only one vaguely amusing anecdote for now - a change of travel plans saw me take a train from Montpelier to Paris, where I spent three nights. I think Paris is my favourite city. Anywhere round the centre at night is enchanting and the Eiffel Tower lit up is spectacular.
I was strolling around the Trocadero at midnight after a few drinks when I saw a very fat well-dressed American sitting on the kerbside muttering to himself. Drunk? So I went over and asked if he was OK.
"Yes I am young man," he said. "But my wife fell in the Seine a couple of hours ago and had to go to the hospital to have her stomach pumped."
This still didn't explain why he was sitting on the kerb, so I asked how he came to be there.
He said: "Well, when she fell in I laughed so much it gave me a pain in the side, and I've been having to sit down once in a while ever since because if I start laughing it really hurts. She got shit-faced at dinner on the boat and tripped on the gangplank coming off. The scream she let out just made me so happy I couldn't stop laughing."
Now that's what I call a good relationship.
garbage.

I am the Prober. I probe deeply, honestly, and thoroughly. It is my forte.
You ask for my help, and I will oblige.
You have a gaping hole in your life which you try to fill by constantly making geographical changes - this much is clear. You believe that by "seeing the world" you will become a better person, but beware the pitfalls of the fotlooose lifestyle. Experiences gained as a transient spirit are seldom as fulfilling or meaningful as those which come from contact with others in a structured environment.
Your latent homosexuality is something with which you have struggled for many years. Allow your feminine side to blossom, and you may find you need to travel less. Also, the limp in your right leg which has plagued you since childhood should not make you feel less worthy. Try to enjoy the company of other disabled people. They can teach you much.
Travel in peace.

I blame the sorry state of public education combined with the willingness of many to so readily absorb the multifarious flotsam spewing forth from the idiot box.
