I really wanted to comment that the goat was calling out for his lover canadaman BUT we kinda have made peace and that would be mean of me and thats not in my nature.
yeah baby now they can call me goat-man.
you see in Canada we are now using 6 goats instead of huskies to pull the dog sled .
why ? because all the snow up north has disappeared because of our American friends driving dump trucks and buses to work and shopping . Their second household vehicle is the hummer.
So my new friend backbone is right ,I am cornering the goat sled market.
The bonus is when they get a 1000 miles on them or 1600k [in Canada] we kill and skin them and sell them in Toronto to the millions of pakistanis , Afghans , Turks ,Iranians,algerians,morocains and Palestinians.[all with new canadian passports]
Your army doesn't have to go to the middle east to fight them ,they are all here having children 5 times the old Canadian national average .
In the next 10 years look out they will be coming across the waters in stealth birch bark canoes . Do you think you are safe now , just wait.Mexico is not your only problem border.
Seeing this goat tethered reminds me of the scene in "Apocalypse Now", the seminal anti-war film by the great director Francis Ford Kubrick. You know, the bit where the cow gets tied up and has its head cut off while Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" is playing?
I auditioned for a part in that film. I was supposed to get the role that eventually went to Dennis Weaver - the crazy, zany, photographer who idolized Colonel Klink? You remember.
Well, as a method actor and having read several books by the great Stanislavsky, I decided to go on a photography course before turning up for the screen test. (Leave no stone unturned, that's my motto.) I also spent three weeks in a cabin in the wilds of Ontario, trying to get inside the mind of the character - deranged, wild-eyed, rambling, all that stuff.
Unfortunately, I got the date of the audition wrong and turned up a day late, and the part went to Weaver.
But hey! What the hell? The movie was an overrated piece of junk anyway. I much preferred Full Metal Jacket Potato, by Stanley Laurel. The bit where the guy blows his head off in the shower - brilliant!
And Platoon was better too - I've always admired Kevin Costner's work, apart from Waterfront, which was shit.
Real Canuck you should really take this as a compliment - this guy's funny as fuck!
Straage, whenever a decent / funny writer pops up I always think Adolf (aka garbage possibly, aka this fake canvck, aka some others I'd need to dredge from memory but frankly haven't the time)
