He lives on. The few folks who listen to shortwave radio can hear his recorded voice at night frequently. Even when he's not as bad as in this video you can tell he's a dominant dickhead. He likes to make little jokes about how his staff better obey him or else. He tells the congregation to pay even closer attention to his nonsense. No mind wandering for them! You had to make reservations to come to his "services". Just another asshole American CEO, only of a Christian sect rather than a business.

I wonder how "gentle Jesus, meek and mild" would get along with him?

This guy was a rough-hewn, tough speakin', fierce Old Testament warrior, son-of-a-bitch son of the Old West, who is very smart and educated and teaches "bible" as an intellectual exercise using linguistics making odd connections, building a construct that some might call paranoid. He worked on gloriously mad diagrams on his whiteboard as he talked. The congregatin says "Yes, sir," a lot. He was an American Original.
