Welll.........I have not punished this august cite with self-satisfying but boring huzzah's for our blessed Red Sox. But now I will....
I think Red Sox backers are largely (but hardly totally) fair minded and fairly well informed fans, as compared to others (don't hammer me with the few isolated bad-boy behavior incidents that happen everywhere...but less often at Fenway, I believe). We even have cheered good plays by the Yankees, and nothing is as difficult as that. Well, maybe having your brother-in-law over for Thanksgiving is worse, but that's a close call.
This clip, showing a total and spontaneous fan reaction to a chancey effort that was at risk for going bad, I think was just terrific. Loved it.

It was indeed a good gesture from the crowd. I'd like to hope that all crowds are like that. Maybe I should go to Fenway to see the Red Sox play...even though they are a bit overrated and "trendy".
I just realized something. Randall could be hung for such a treacherous act. Dressing up in a Red Sox shirt and singing the National Anthem at their stadium!

This was pretty cool. It must be tough enough to sing the anthem in front of a dozen people let alone thousands. This kid has a one of a kind memory to keep, and I bet everyone there went home feeling good that day.

And that you can say what you will about: America, retards, national anthems or retarded American national anthems. But not only was this kid handicapable to face thousands of onlookers and sing the national anthem, he also had a good sense of humor by realizing how funny it was for him to be singing the anthem with words long
