Steven for Steven, these dudes duel to a draw. So the outcome of this debacle.....sorry, good fight, is that a quagmire is more glamorous than looking like a pussy? The testosterone level in American leaders (and all self-important males, for that matter) is way above what should be. Our species is doomed!
They were going to do that, but Saddam wouldn't agree to a football game. He thought we meant soccer, and there was a lot of confusion about the rules and team structure. They had some after talks about arm wrestling... to no avail. I think Saddam was afraid we'd send Bush's buddy Arnold.
After a few long minutes of kicking the tires and lukewarm debate (for show), they decided to do it the old fashioned way and just steal it like the Romans did.
