Do you know what else screws you up? drugs for ADD, they'll make you feel like life is on fast forward and the first thing that crosses your mind once trouble comes your way is to kill. I don't mean, I hate you kill, not I'm going to straight up murder your ass kill, I mean I will destroy everything in existence, kill. and thats why kids with ADD are so fucked up.
Do you take Ritalin, adderall? Or should I say have you taken them (today)?
On the slim chance this is not an attempt at being funny, and you are describing how YOU feel on them, I urge you to talk with your doctor immediately!
Your description sounds like the effects presented when a person who does not have ADD abuses those drugs. (not to mention described while under their influence)
Funny this should come up. Just stopped taking Strattera (an ADD med.) last Friday. (O'kay, make jokes if you want) Suddenly starting to feel like my good old self again. I think I must have been misdiagnosed.
Can I tell y'all a secret. Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) does not exist anymore. ADD was actually recategorized under Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). SO, now if you look at the DSM-!V-TR, you will see that there are several types of ADHD. Type one is Inattentive ADHD. This usually goes unnoticed (especially in girls/women) and is only treated later in life... Just like in my situation. Type two, however, is the purely hyperactive portion of this category. This includes not only inattentiveness, but also restlessness... blahblahblah.
We all know what it is... we all have it. That's just how our/younger generations have been socialized. I mean that's WHY we're here. Because we're restless with our lives and don't want to focus on the realities and responsibilities.
I was treated with Type I ADHD. Was given Focalin. The shit gave me a fucked up heart rate, which isn't really a surprise seeing as my whole family has heart problems. So I stopped taking it. But the crappy thing is that I wish it were addressed earlier in my life. It was more than clear that I had an attention problem, however it was not addressed.
Piaget says that a child's reality is constantly changing. This means that any behavioral/development/etc problems one may face in childhood, if addressed accordingly, can be left behind.
So, drugs are probably not the answer in MOST ADHD cases, but rather with behavioral and social intervention, children would most benefit and grow from such problems.
It's important to note that ADHD is typically comorbid with many other disorders. This includes Conduct Disorder, which is outright rebellion and shit due to problems in the home environment and other weird shit. So, if a child is diagnosed with ADHD, it's a good idea to look at other aspects of the kid's life to see if there is something else screwy going on.
What I'm saying is simply this: As with most situations, drugs only treat the individual's symptoms, but will never heal the reprobate environment in which the individual survives.
Let it help you. It can only do you good. It means well. Release yourself. (Oh, and there's a cop coming to have a peek at your pockets. Might wanna hide that little plastic bag.)
By the way.. this is brilliant. I have long been a skeptic, and certainly not one to fall for a scam. I have been saying the same things for a long time.... And this video doesn't even scratch the surface. I say hell yeah for Part Two.
The 'war' on drugs, is what makes illegal drugs profitable. It is always the cause against a thing that elevates the profit margins, and enables control of the thing into a semi-regulated business.
It seems that illegal drugs, legal drugs, and war are the core of the US financial center profits.
This is why legalizing pot in the Netherlands reduced the drug problems there significantly. But who would expect any governments to learn from positive examples?
