Have anybody heard the word symbiosis, some animal have evolved to grow in masses because they have been hunted by other animal for millenias.
In other words if the animals would stop hunting the lesser powerful ones they would overflow an entire region and eventually die because or overpopulation which leads to lack of food for all of them.
We also have animals that have evolved to suit us in order to ensure thei survival , they live in symbiosis with us. And after we hit the top of the food chain we simply chose the animal from generation of habit to use as source of food.
And I guarantee that the hunter gatherers did not haver this animal in their diet.
We are now consciouss and so know which food that out body need and we take it, AS WELL its genetically acustomded to after generation and generations of intake.

We didn't eat these parts: bones (mounted antlers), teeth, eyes, skin (tanned the pelt), colons, a$$holes (sent them to Canada - JUST KIDDING!!!! ... maybe... ), hooves, bladder, any enzyme-producing organ. We ate the rest, from the tongue to the end of the large intestine, all the "lights" and used the blood for sausage. The whole family pitched in for the butchering. I picked out the buck-shot and cranked the hand-crank grinder, feeding the tough meat and gristle into it for burgers (chicken, pig, deer, cow, duck, squirrel, turkey, pheasant). In doing this - eating the whole animal - which you probably have labeled hayseed, hick, backwoods, etc. - we lessened the demand on store-bought animal products. You could do the same... or you could post useless comments on this web site.

Jesus Christ, why would somebody do that? It's a tragedy that people today could hsoot a dolphin for the hell of it. You're supposed to use a rod and reel w/ a small kitten for bait. Make sure to cut the bait first, the dolphins love a good blood trail. Also, make sure to humanely dispatch said dolphin with a 10lb sledge (or bigger depending on dolphin voraciousness)
This insures the meat is not harmed during the kill. Fillet like a fish, but don't cook it like one. Prepare it more like you would, oh say, a horse. Marinate it for a day or so and throw it on a grill for a few hours on the top rack, or if you have a smoker, thats the best method. DOn't forget the Ketchup!!!

I am not surprised how some people think that because they eat and prepare the animal it is an excuse to kill it. I am aware that we can't survive without eating meat but you can be selective of where you get your meat and what kind of meat you are eating. If you go to El Pollo Loco or to quick food restaurants you are not aware where what you are eating comes from. Instead of being angry about "Im a hunter and I'm a man and blah blah blah" and bitching about some of us vegans being activists about not being brutal, we should investigate what we can do to make things better for us and for the animals. I live in Southern California and I go to the beach a lot, I've seen dolphins and whales and they are beautiful animals. It makes me sick to think about shooting one for whatever purpose. I'm not against professional hunters in the wild because most of them donate money towards animal preservation and forest restoration and things like that, but if you just hunt out of your red neck ass and just eat and shit... you should be eaten alive by piranhas.
CLEARLY as we can all see, this is called SLAUGHTER and it was done for SPORT by some low-life. MANY people do this, as do many people DISAGREE with it. I personally strongly disagree with this act of violence, especially towards harmless creatures such as dolphins. Now, keep in mind we don't know the reasoning as to why this was done. Maybe the person was using self defence, we don't know. Not that it matters anymore, because these animals are gone and there isn't anything we can do about it. I'm deeply affected by this, but I know that I can't change what's already been done.
As for this whole vegetarian topic.. again, I've also got a personal opinion. I tried vegetarianism for a while just recently. I did this because I'm very strongly against animal slaughter and such. I've watched every single video showing where the meat comes from and how it became. People are saying that they're hand chosen and used for breeding for such an act. Yes, it is cruel, but then how else are we going to survive? Multivitamins? Come on, people. To be honest, I don't have a set opinion on this though. I don't care whether you're vegan, vegetarian or if you eat meat. It's your decesions based on what your beliefs are. But I've learned to honour that certain animal. I woulndn't be ALIVE if it weren't for the meat that I've eaten. Instead of not eating what's put infront of me and having it trashed in the end, I eat it because that's MY way of saying thank-you to that animal for sacrificing it's life for me.
Continuing what I said before, I became vegetarian BECAUSE of the way they are killed. It should be done humanely, and not the way it's presently handled. How would you like to be bludgened to death? Slashed with a machetti? Have you're chest carved with a knife only to bleed your way to death? Yeah, I wouldn't want to be either.

I disagree! God created animals to eat, but cruelty to animals is a completely different case! I detest it, hurting innocent animals, and the worst part, getting away with it! If they were humans what would happen? Loads of publicity, court, jail for life, in America maybe even the electric chair (I dunno, I'm from Ireland.)
Also self-defence against DOLPHINS? They are some of the kindest most intelligent animals on earth, and I can't remember any record of attack from dolphins, only rescue.
Even orcas, I don't know any but two and one the orca mistook a woman's leg for a fish and the orca was in captivity where, instead of a wide ocean the pool was about 20m x 20m! They deserved it!
And a few more things, humans are the only BEEEP BEEEPED things on the planet. When America was discovered, big trucks with holes in them would drive past herds of buffalo and just shoot (about 20 people in a truck) till all the buffalo lay dead, or dying, on the ground. There is a difference between this and what Native Americans did, which was kill one to last them a whole season, and actually EAT it! And Canilope the difference is that these animals were alive, and they were clever animals and helped people (as nature automatically does). These dolphins weren't eaten! And I'm sure that if a HUMAN BEING so much "better" than the dolphins would have gone to the police and have started complaining the instant they were attacked, and then the police would probably say dolphins are dangerous and all must be shot on site and then the dolphins probably didn't even do anything!!!!
