Well I'm not trying to claim all my posts are worthwhile and meaningful! But a single letter? Really, that is just a shameless attempt to post first, and aren't you technically supposed to claim first for it to count in the official book of rules about stupid shit nobody cares about?
I hearby make a solemn pledge, to never post first just to post first, but only to post when I have a truly worthless comment to share with the world!
wtf? a bunch of weird white guys thrashing on the floor? Can you imagine them going to work the next day and saying "wow dude!!! you were really good!! I mean, you were like shakin' all over the floor!!"
Ahahahahaha.......I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. When that guy tripped over that other guy and then fell down!! Priceless. I seriously cannot stop laughing. But seriously though, these types of churches freak me right the fuck on out. I believe there is a verse in Corinthians that speaks on there being order in the church. Don't tell these guys though, then we might not get more funny videos like this one.
"these types of churches freak me right the fuck on out."
I couldn't agree more. I get freaked out when I visit my wife's Episcopalian church (every time one of my kids gets baptized), and I have to spend more than the gratuitous 15 seconds shaking hands.
Howdy Deb, it's downright arctic here, oh wait it just went up a degree, it's now a balmy 19f, sunny AND snowing! Heck if it weren't for this nasty cold I have, I'd say it would be time for an ATV ride!
Looks like you might need a nice warm fire and a hot toddy. My suggestion is: Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Schnapps.... go for the 100 proof on the schnapps.... if thats too sweet, Hot lemonade and whiskey will work in a pinch! : )
miter....deb...for Thanksgiving my wife and I drove (6.5 hrs.) from our beautiful Cape Cod to Fort Drumm in northern NYS where our son and his pregnant wife live, him awainting both his new son, and deployment to the troubled parts of the world. It rained all the way...except until Syracuse (why do people actually live there ! ?) and in the next 16 - 24 hours we were blessed with 18 inches of snow...coulda been worse, as it was sort of warm, and the snow tended to get heavy instead of deep.
It was grey but clear when we left four days later....we left the snow behind us in Syracuse and we saw the sun when we crossed the bridge to the Cape 6 hours later. Everything is relative...relative to Fort Drumm, the Cape is virtually tropical.
Just thought I'd add on to your weather report. I am so entertained by both your postings, as I expect many are. Think Cape when you think "the south"....the Canadians do (another "relative" thingy, to be sure.).
Re the video......as my dad said all the time, "It takes all kinds...", but I have to note, THIS kind is kinda .....hmmm....how to be tolerant, how to be inclusive, how to be accepting....how to be, well, offended without saying so....
It's just nuts.
Here's the thing....it's OK within any group of like-thinking people to behave in ways all agree upon. Really, I think it is, and that accounts for the "talking in tongues" people, and the "redeemer is in the comet's tail" people, and the "if it ain't deep fried it ain't real food" people...so long as they contain themselves within themselves. This video is inoffensive, but certainly not intended for the wide distrubution is now is experiencing.
Anyone get the name of that lady in blue who shoved the miasmatic man to the floor? My Personal Injury attorney is offering a bounty.
Probably something like this.."Why in the hell do I keep letting my parents force me to come here?" Either that or his holy ghost recpetor is turned off ;)
I want to know what that guy sitting there in the front row is thinking - everyone is CONNIPTING and he is just sitting there with his hands folded, just taking it all in.
