I agree, egis.....still, there is such a compelling attractiveness to this precocious young lady....she will outgrow her small shortcomings, I suspect. Meantime, as a six year old.....just so, well, compelling.....and clearly beyond a six-year-old's expected abilities. Wish she'd never grow up.
She is really good for such a young age! A little flat at spots but she will be awsome as she gets olders. Some record company will scoop her up and and put her on the Disney channel. I pray for her to do great things and use the talent God gave her!
Agreed, the little girl has a remarkable voice, vibrato in particular but she does have a pitch problem, probably why she sang a capella which would have made the pitch problem more noticeable. Most remarkable is the fact that Simon claimed her to be "pitch perfect" which indeed makes me wonder about his overall judging ability of any of the thousands of singers he hears.
whats truly amazing is the amount of vibrato in her voice. most girls dont develop that untill after puberty. and shes adorable, especialy with that giant microphone.
I watched this with my 6 year old son. We're going to check in on this girl over the years to come. I hope this Angel is well looked after. She has alot to offer the world.
This is the best singing voice I ever heard from a child! She is really sweet, charming and has a pitch perfect voice! I cried the first time I heard her sing! She has a promising future as a great singer! I hope she will be treated well as she grows up.
Outstanding! It appeared that you could have heard a pin drop in that auditorium! Brought a tear or two to my eyes. This little girl has great potential. I wish her the best in life as she will probably bring a lot of joy to others...
The thing is you can't really say "that was terrible, get of stage," to a 6 year old girl. Even Simon can't help but blend before her adorable, four toothed smile. It's like when the retard who couldn't sing tied for first place because he was so talented. That actually happened at my school. He was expelled from his last school because of sexual harasment charges. W-T-F...
I was absolutely floored! Raised in music by a concert pianist mom, I was amazed by her perfect pitch and total overall stage presence. What a great little talent! May she go very far and be treated well in her endeavors.... that innocence brought tears to my eyes and the song took on a whole new meaning. Way to go Connie! Loved you!!!!
I'm not impressed with the vibrato at all - it sounds like the talentshows in the US where the girls flander about in pink skirts and cowboyboots and full make up at the age of 3.
The absolutely fantastic thing about her singing is the honesty - there's a purity about the performance that is fantastic.
I tried singing like that and i can't even get close to he amount of vibrato i hear in that first note. She has amazing talent i really would like to meet her.
And for those of you wonering what show this is it's Britains Got Talent America copied it. Connie was a runner-up in the finals but lost to a man named Paul Potts who sung opera at its finest he was amazing if you want to hear him he is on youtube
This little girl is AWESOME!!!!!!! She will go far and I look forward to hearing more from her. Connie needs to come to the USA. She would have a contract waiting for her.
For the person who asked who was singing at the end, it is Eva Cassidy - she died some years ago at an early age. She is from the East Coast of the US. It is NOT Barbra Streisand!
What a shame to think that in 10 yrs time this innocent little girl is going to b hopping around in a bikini singing about candy and sex.
It was beautiful to hear it though - touchingly innocent
I have to say that this beautiful little girl just did my heart good. She is so very tatlented. I agree, God has big plans for this little bit. Her pitch, her inoccence is just riverting! Good Luck Connie. I will be watching for you. God Bless!
Her performance touched my stone cold heart. Of course she was singing my favorite tune. I think she sings because she enjoys it. I hope she can hold onto that.
you're not human if your heart doesn't come out when she sings. in fact there are alot of animals who would have sat and listened when she sang. and retarted is not spelled that way.
Connie is one fantastic talented child. Thanks to my friend for sending me this to watch. I loved her singing and she is so sweet . I watched this 10 times already tonight since I got this. I hope to see how she does in the future.
i just love music, and this young little girl will go far, she is a great singer and she will only get better, she could sign a contact now or i should say her mom could, way to go the singing is very touching,,donaldsmith1958@yahoo.com thank you so much,
Throbstick: you truly have a sick, twisted and perverse mind; your name says it all. Whether you believe this little girl has talent or not is irrelevant to your disrespectful, degrading
Maybe she will grow up to be a singer and maybe she won't. She usually got the pitch after wavering around and her timing was really bad but she has a sweet voice like many young children. There should be an age limit. Cute and sweet doesn't compete well with real performers. I don't mean to be an ogre but that's my considered opinion.
Just goes to show that talent is born, not earned as some have to do!This little lady completely has 1 of the best voices of a 6 yr. old than many of the singers out there on the radio today singing about drugs and killing!!I could sit and listen to her immaculatly fine tuned voice all day or all week as far as that goes!!I hope everyone has their voices tuned, cause they're in for big trouble come show down for the close of this coming of the child prodigy!!
GOOD LUCK CONNIE and MAY YOU TRIUMPH OVER ALL SPREADING JOY WITH TEARS!!
throbstick, that would be little and you are a non-entity. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and stick your limp little throb on a window sill and slam it shut.
As for Connie, for someone just 6 years old, she has remarkable poise and self confidence to go along with her lilting voice. A truly talented individual.
FANTASTIC!! This little angel is truly a gift from God. She's so innocent and pure; the reasons why she's just taking it all with a grain of salt. I hope she goes all the way.....
people here get offended too easily. throbstick is playing a game and he's winning... honestly he deserves to win. he can play this game really well. i can't wait to see the next group of people he'll piss off.
connie is the best singer and the sweetest little girl. She really sings from her heart and is a regular 6 year old. I have fallen in love with her. When I'm down, I listen and watch her and immediately feel good!!!!
omg, this little girl is the next super star Bravo We will be listening to her for the rest of our lives honey, no drugs, no booze, no smoking don't let us all down and become a pairs hilton or the other's you, lead the way in songs and being a humanitarian we all will be watching you you go little girl
I still wish she had won!!
But she will be O.K.!! I can listen to her when i want to and thatwill
make me feel good!
I still can't believe she didn't win!!!
The absolute charm of this little girl is that she still has the innocent outlook on life that we all seem to lose as we grow older. The way that she sang those words made me feel that she meant every one of them and I remembered feeling that way a long, long time ago.
I would like to join the other outcasts and ask "justanoldlady" if when she felt that "innocent outlook" "feeling" was before or after her house was wired for electricity. Most people seem to get it right after their first piece of ass.
This wonderful child, could be the next Charlotte Church or even better! Her charm, pitch, and even though she didn't win, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt, this child will go somewhere. And I still think the Queen should ask her to perform for her!
Oh cut me some fucking slack, Trentpoe, Throb and Barndoor aren't the same person yet post at the same time the same crap.? Bite me you cellar dwellers. If you aren't one and the same you just became so. No more mercy for ANY OF YOU SCUM.
she is the one to be the famous singer she is better than me i think if i was the juge and we had to use numbers i will give here a 234`000000 i think that she is awsome not good awsome and she is cute send here to a radio place and put here on
Connie, You were and are fantastic!!! Keep singing don't ever let anyone bring you down!! God gave you a beautiful voice and a wonderful personallity!!! Your a angel disguised as a 6 year old, and never forget who you are!!! God's little angel!! God Bless you and hope to hear you soon!!!! Peaches
Connie, você é fantástica! Não ligue para os estúpidos que não sabem o que falam. Parabéns! Connie, you are great! Don't pay attention to those stupid as they don't know nothing about being kind and gentle. Congratulations!
Connie, you are wonderful, teriffic, marvelous, fantastic....
Congratulations and very best wishes to you. No matter what happens, you'll always be a winner. A great video to watch on a rainy day in Bloomfield, NJ, USA. (Congratulations to your family, too.)
Wow Stutz, you got my point. Follow the bouncing ball.
She is competing against adults, and while she may do ok for her age, she cannot compete against the adults. She should not be allowed to advance simply because people think she's cute. She needs to wait until she is old enough and refined enough to compete, but now is clearly not the time.
aww .. this girl is just so sweet . she's cute ! i love her sweet, innocent voice . in years to come, i`m sure she'd be a famous singer ! (: G-R-E-A-T ! i'd hope to see more of Connie's video ! more to come yeahhh .. (: Connie, rock on !
This little girl is awesome! She will be a star one day and I believe she will win the contest to sing in front of the queen. That would be a real honor for her to remember for her lifetime. This is so cool. :) I wish I could sing, hahaha. Good going Connie!!!
this little girl was rapped in the wings of an angel her voice was wonderful and sooo beautiful god bless her and her family babygirl may the lord take you to wonderful and baeutiful places cause your voice is speacial keep up the great work and somewhere over the rainbow is your future god bless you honey
I just finished watching this video for the 2nd time and both times it made my heart melt to see a cute little thing with such a strong voice. Simon did a good job of liking her voice and sending her up the ladder with the show. way to go connie
MY GOD!!!! you lot are wet especially you bunnylove, why do you cry when you watch this. and the audience are bloody annoying with all there ahhhhhs and oohhhs, and with the over clapping. my god its a little girl not the birth of Christ why are people crying, idiots, oh and Simon is brilliant hes sso honest.
Wonderful! As a just-turned-65-year-old who has been "into" music since I heard my first recording when i was very young, I was touched immensely. I sell music part-time so I can pay for medical insurance. I appreciated the reference to Eva Cassidy, who died from melanoma at 33. My favorite female singer of all time. You should see the looks on customer's faces when they hear clips of her fabulous singing. Check her out unless you are one of those luddites like a customer who wouldn't even listen "because I won't listen to it unless it is performed exactly the way Harold Arlen wrote it." I'm still trying to figure that one out. Judy Garland would have hit him in his snout. By the way, another moving performance of this song is one by Iz, a revered Hawaiian singer who recently passed away. I wish a bright future for Connie.
To mv240z ... I am in complete agreement with you. I have everything Eva ever recorded and think it's so tragic that her life ended just when her career was taking off. And Iz. A man after my own heart. His lament about the "state" Hawaii is in makes me cry every time. Sorry ... this has been off the subject. Back on it ... I am so impressed ... Connie, you go girl!!!!
To any one who does not realize just what a wonderful amazing gift the Lord has given this beautiful child (Connie) It seems I was serveral months late in viewing this wonderful child sing, but on a day when my heart was truely low, through my sis-in-law, I was able to get a much needed lift to my heart when I listened to this beautiful child sing. AMAZING, Good luck sweet girl, and my God continue to bless and keep you :-)
You have to be f...in kidding me. That is not any encyclopedia moronof4. Anyone can post to wikipedia. I could do a story on myself. Don't contaminate the genetic problem any further - stop giving birth.
wow I was moved by this little ray of sunshine. I am a father of 2 and I am a singer myself but never have I heard such a talented young star as this liitle sweety performed. I loved it
So little and so cute, but she can pull at your heart strings. This little girl brought tears to my eyes, just like the judge. I passed this to everyone in my contacts. When you feel down, just watch and listen to her. I have 2 daughters, and mine looked very much like her at that age years ago. She will go on to better things. Wish she had won!
This was fan, tastic. Im going to try to trick the life extension forums into making this version their theme song. It reminds me of what it was like to be wide eyed and star struck about what it means to exist. You know that feeling that weve kind of become indifferent toward over the years. Remember now, this is very important, just because we may have become indifferent toward something doesnt mean that it is something that we should be indifferent toward.
I can live with that. I am sure enough people have seen and heard her that she will have a fabulous life. She has touched thousands of lives. She has to be blessed. She blessed us.
I cry everytime I hear her sing this. I used to hate the song. Over played. People sang it badly etc. She made me like it. She is fantastic. I hope she keeps singing. She is a singer.
