Don't understand why this would be considered funny. It is quite plausible that predisposition to gayness can be genetically determined, whereas Christianity definitely not.
Stupidity is caused by a combination of genetic disposition, nutrition in childhood and early education.
Religion is a mental derangement caused by bad influences and it usually results in harassment of people who have a different opinion and don't accept to follow arbitrary and stupid rules.
Homosexualtity on the other hand is just a sexual orientation that does no harm to anybody.

Joopelo, glad you have heard of the research showing a physiological difference in people who are believers. They don't know yet whether it causes the behaviour, or the behaviour causes the physiological difference.
There's a lot of study now on the physiological changes brought about by behaviour; I think that it's like the old "nature vs nurture" thing; a bit of both working back and forth.
I just wish that I did not know so many gay christians!
Apparently there are not many Aussies who visit this site. I didn't read ALL the above comments, but noticed a few PPL seem to be taking the above video clip a little too seriously, so I thought I'd try to help.
FYI, I believe it's from an Aussie comedy show on ABC called "CNNNN" (Chaser NoN-stop News Network).
Famous for pranks and getting into lots of trouble with politicians by ambushing their press conferences, the crew on CNNNN presented a controversial, "cutting-edge", award-winning comedy show which parodied current news events, and they generally just took the piss out of anything they could. I'm not a big fan of the show, but I have seen the odd episode here and there. Some segments are brilliant, others are crap. Sometimes the comedic ticker-tape scrolling along the bottom of the screen was funnier than the sketches. Take it or leave it.
The show essentially continues in it's current form "The Chaser's War On Everything".
