John D.....It is my sincerest hope that you actually read this. I used to enjoy your show. This clip reveals you not as the political pundit I had taken you for for but, rather, just another sensationalist pig searching for approval of the masses through your own misguided interpretation of truths. If I cared to take the time to prove my point to you I would simply take snippits from your own show and piece them together to my own means and make you look like a complete idiot. I know that you are an intelligent man, but how easy it would be to make you appear otherwise through a simple manipulation of your words. That is all you have done here is to manipulate the words of a man that we, the masses, chose to lead our country to garner applause and approval of the millions of other cafe mocha latte drinking, cell phone in each pocket, HDTV watching thankless individuals who only criticize the works of a nation under attack that is working feverishly to protect your right to cast those dispersions. JOHN........ WHY NOT SHUT UP AND TRY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE INSTEAD?!

john d? wouldn't it be JON S? as in stewart? i really don't know what you mean by the d.

anyways, chill buddy, he's just doing his job. he reads the script in front of the camera. what do you know about what he is or isn't doing, in real life, to make "a difference"? i for one have no idea. maybe you're totally justified in your neutered verbal assault (what i mean is, it has no balls, no potency, just wasted effort). what i do know is you spell his name like this, "Jon Stewart".

Absolutely brilliant!! I laughed just as hard with this the second time watching it as the first.

And uh, no, I'm not being satiated by the mass media. I'm active in trying to make changes in government and policy. The only thing needed is to have people:

1) not be fearful
2) not be divided
3) not be manipulated by the media.

The first two are still being done, but the third--given the 70% disapproval rating of our involvement in Iraq while most of mainstream media still covers for Chaney/Bushco--is not happening. Not by a long shot.

If people realize this and organize, a revolution could happen in this country.

oh, that's clever, they took out little bits here and there from Bushes speaches to match Jon Stewart's comments. Man, the liberals are starting to get creative. Before we know it, they'll be coming up with LEGITAMATE reasons to impeach Bush. Honestly, we could be making fun of Clinton or Kerry the same way using their material. I'm tired of the Democrats spewing out the same garbage on Bush all the time when they know that their choice wouldn't have done any better. It's just too bad that Bush can't run for president again.
