What about the several farmers I know that just recently sold the farms they worked on their entire lives. They worked these farms for years barely able to get by and now they sell the farm for a couple million only to have the fed take half. Does that seem fair. That money was earned through swaeat, blood, and tears over several generations and now they have to share it with deadbeats. That is real patriotic as Obama likes to say.

l have not done research lately, so speak from recollection only...slavery in the US was only a small part of slavery worldwide, and generally better handled in the US than elsewhere.....NOT an excuse, but to put some level of perspective on things. Slavery has a long history worldwide. My "fucking forefathers" actually never had slaves, nor was that the theme for most all the folks we descend from here in the states...they worked like crazy just to survive, much less buy other people to work for them.
