I agree with most of this. Fact is that the brain is a chemical processor, and throwing toxins into it is bound to cause damage. There is no reason for mercury to be used as a preservative for vaccines. There is more outcry against it being used in pressure treated wood, than there is in medicine.
All of the heavy metals are known to be destructive to life. There is no argument about that, so the reason for doing so must be political, and or financial.

I think I did say that I was probably overzealous in what I said. Probably should have said nothing. The ILA, Berlin Air Show. I was there yesterday as a trade visitor, less crowded, though not the full flight program, will be back on Saturday for more.
The P-51 had not yet arrived. Actually we saw quite a few of the aircraft flying in just yesterday. Due to a minor accident the flight program was cut short too. A Me109 did damage its right gear on landing and blocked the runway for more than an hour. Fortunately the pilot was not injured and the plane will fly again, though not soon.
I live rather close to the airport and can see many of the performing aircraft from my house. Some of the jets take their turns right over my house and my office. There have been Eurofighters and Tornados playing in the air since last week :)
None a this show. There is a Steerman, yesterday a Me109 and Me262 were flying formation and a DC-3 and C-17 were celebrating the 60th anniversiry of the Berlin air litf.
Red Bull is there with a Skymaster and a B-25. More stuff is flying in each day. Yesterday when we were alreday leaving a Mig29 came in, it was towed into display position right in front of me (had to step aside to let the truck and plane pass and could take several close ups, including one with the pilot posing in fromt of his plane).
I am looking forward to the demo of a brand new Mig29 at the weekend, thrust vectoring nozzles, spectacular :))

AAI ~ I can't prove anything. All I can say is, I'm an American, and I'm not an idiot. I don't live in CA, so Arnie is nothing to do with me personally. I didn't vote for Bush, nor did anyone I have ever known or talked to vote for him. I've said it before, but it bears repeating. Most of us who live in this country are just as dismayed as the rest of the world about what goes on. We are powerless, as individuals, or even communities, to do a single thing about it. We watch what goes on, just as the rest of you do, but we have no control over it. Most everyone I know in my circles, (social, professional, personal), are hard working, honest, intelligent people. We simply don't have the power to make major, nationwide, governmental changes. It is all decided outside our realm of influence. And we are swept along, we endure, because this is where we live, and this is the country we love. We are taught, and encouraged to embrace, from the moment of birth that America is a "melting pot" of cultures, a land of opportunity for all, a place to be proud of. None of us can give that up, or want to live anywhere else.
You said it when you stated the candidates wealth is what gets them where they are. It isn't us, the average American, agreeing with everything they say and do. They aren't in power because the general public wants them there. They buy their way there, and how are we supposed to combat that? It's a little difficult when most people are more concerned about working themselves to exhaustion just so they can feed their families and buy gas and heat their homes and pay their bills.
I'm just pointing out, and agreeing with Bug, that in every country, there are some idiots, to be sure. But there are also a good amount of people who are not. To broadly state that Americans, as a whole and across the board, in it's entirety, holds nothing but idiots is shortsighted of you, to say the least. Whatever country you hail from, it can only be proven there is ONE idiot, that we know of, and we gathered that information from your posts. What the rest of you are like, we have no idea. It doesn't mean everyone from your country is shortsighted.
