What puzzles me tho is why so much animosity from the poster backbone? Most of us have been posting over a year with only a few antagonist who seemed to turn on each other a few months back then disappeared? The as sudden as they left, an even quicker reappearance? Throb what gives! Why not just stick to your old handle? Please explain to me your reasoning behind this all to sudden appearance and even more sudden series of attacks?
Glumbert is about to experience something that has been sadly lacking for the last few months. Me!
I am probably one of the best writers in the world, published in six languages and in fourteen countries. My personal wealth is considerable, and my talent prodigious. I am not known for my modesty, but modesty does not appear to be a quality much in evidence on Glumbert.
Perhaps I should begin by praising the efforts of canuck1963. His style, while derivative and somewhat clumsy, is at least entertaining. His obvious lack of formal education should not discourage him from further efforts. But perhaps these should be practised in the privacy of his own home, rather than on the world wide web. His syntax is woeful, as is his positioning of commas. (And a basic spellcheck, while not generally used by writers of substance, would not go amiss).
Backbone the rampant fascist is a more interesting character. It does not take a psychology graduate to work out that he has his tongue firmly planted in his cheek. Mischief is his game, and one has to admit he is rather good at playing that card. His alter ego qlanettint is a masterstroke. I would surmise he is someone who finds it difficult to elicit responses from his "real world" acquaintances, and is using Glumbert to ruffle feathers. It makes him feel important.
I would also suggest that most of the contributors to Glumbert are inadequate souls in one respect or another. This is no disgrace. Each tells tales of derring-do, of red-blooded conquests, and life experiences so enthralling as to be almost unbelievable. Still, no real harm done.
The question must be asked - if their lives are so fascinating, why do they spend so much of their valuable time writing to complete strangers with odd pseudonyms and even more odd opinions.
The answer - YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF FUCKING LOSERS!!!!!!!!!

Many thanks. You will be delighted to know that my visits will be sporadic. Only when there is a topic or discourse which demands my attention will I venture onto these threads.
And I am totally confused.
Oh well. Not a completely unfamiliar state of mind for me. I've been there before. I like all of you, even the suspected "aliases". Brings a little sparkle to the site. Maybe I can have a better attitude because no one has ever said anything bad to me. I'm appreciative of that, and hope I haven't opened up a can of worms for someone to do it! I don't like to argue, it isn't my specialty, but I have disagreed a time or two, even with Canuck. It was a more or less distinguished and respectful disagreement, but I don't necessarily go along with everything people say. I am capable of stating my own opinions. I do always try to temper it with discretion though. I don't like to piss anyone off, and I do try to see their side too.
Backbone, man, you are taking an awful lot of abuse right now. A ton. I'm not going to add to it, no way. I'm not like that. I admire that trait some people have that lets them go against the tide, not afraid to say whatever they want, no matter who likes it or who doesn't. In a general, broad sweep, Canuck has that same admirable trait. Your opinions differ, certainly, and your methods clash. But if a little effort were made, might there be some common ground somewhere?
OK , being an old fart and not knowing alot about the enternet, It has taken me months to figure out that some people had aliases under these comments. When backbone came on I was sure this was someone who had been posting, something about the way he/she read. So I decided to become another poster, backbonER was born.
Now being the F*Ked up person I am keeping two identities was never going to work, the f*k-up with miter, while on the phone with a friend has given me up. So backbonER is no more, forgive me for my stupid attemp at an alias. Thanks.

This is becoming totally farcical! Censorship sucks. Glumbert - you should remove the "inappropriate" facility if it's being abused in this way. It doesn't matter how it started, because it's now completely out of control.
Been away a while. This thread makes no sense, as at least half the posts have been deleted....including all of Canuck1963's...and while a few of his in the past may have been appropriately "inappropriate", I can't believe all here were.
