That's right, puppy poo, doggy doo, fido feces, whatever cute name you want to call it. It seems to be everywhere these days. Lying on lawns, perched on pathways, sitting steaming on sidewalks.
This is such a huge problem that the French, a most intelligent and enlightened society, considered making it a crime punishable by fines and even imprisonment. Wonder what they call it? "Merde"er in the first degree? Works for me.
They even put forth a large and costly advertising campaign with bus shelter sized posters showing sad faced, bruised and bandaged folks who had done full gainers on lassie loaf.
Now here in Nanaimo where I live is a lovely park called "Westwood lake" where people got to hike around the lake, picnic, swim and other general lakeside frolicking.
is this a response the earlier doggie video ? sorta out of position, if so ....not sure how dog poop plays into this thread...but what the heck...
my wife refers to these lawn mines as (here, trying to find new allegorical metaphorical similies - notwithstanding clear and repeated and obvious redundancies said over again - more than once -while maintaining your alliterative approach) random residues, low lying land lumps, canine clods, schitzu schitz, beagle bagels, and Canadian Baseball. Oops...that last one just slipped out.
she's part of the chinese space programme - lead pilot. they're gonna send mini rockets into space and set up a satellite network ( a laundry chain for soiled astronauts)
Got to pipe in, I thought it was cool. At the grand age of (46, we all know), I have never even been able to get one side done on a rubik's cube. I haven't been diligent, that I will admit. But I lose steam, lose hope, and give up after about ten seconds. My brain just doesn't work in that forward way that is necessary to solve that puzzle. I have resigned myself, and don't think about it anymore.
Me too, FTB....my kids did it, but that was a long while ago. I just gave it a shot now and then, but just was not interested enough to give any energy to that process...sheesh....that was not exactly yesterday.
What's the term used for inexplicable intelligence....genius? It happens. Statistically, more likely in China than here, just as a function of numbers. That is likely the explantion for this event....even if she was a midget, her performance was impressive...and it's not likely she was any more than what we saw.
If there is comfort in being amongst the throng who achieves but just not at the next higher level, you are surrounded by friends. Forget the Cube...it assures nothing in terms of quality of life.
Chaz got it right. The laws of numbers says China will produce more autistic children than any other country. (now to go off on a tangent) Another interesting fact is the fact that there's 2.5 million cars on the road in shanghi (2007 census) and there's predicted to be another 500,000 more in 2008. At that rate there's going to be no room to take a dump in 3 years. Open sewer rivers is disgusting. The air is extremely toxic. It's illegal to have multiple partners even if consenting (I like that idea). If everyone in China was fired at the same time, the very next day all companies could hire completely new people who've never had a paying job before in their life. Most migrant workers live in the same building as their place of employment with their family. For some odd reason...... the Chinese in China love to honk their horns when in a traffic jam (as if that would get the mad traffic moving).
