As far as golf is concerned, I have to go with the late, great George Carlin on this one ... you are lucky you found that little ball the first time ... wtf would you hit it again?
There's no knowing how people are going to react. I came back from the Pyrénées the other day with a yodelling marmot (OK, so yodelling is more of an Alpine thing but never mind). A colleague came into my office, started asking me something, set off the yodelling, and just carried on without skipping a beat, as if he get interrupted by yodelling marmots all the time.
